Dreadful. Donna didn't know where her greatest strengths lay - Like most artists. She didn't have the creative control like Madonna. That's why she fell on her ass big time in the '80s.
This has to be one of my favourite Donna songs. It was released in the UK in 1985 and reached no 97. Very sad. It's an innovative and different pop/rock composition. Poor marketing - if this had been the first release from "Cats without Claws" with the same amount of money spent on the "Supernatural Love" video I guess it could have been a smash in the USA. Love it !
@leelshal A number of posters have commented expressing dismay about the fact that a number of songs on this album were not "hits." Keep in mind American radio at the time and to some degree, still is, very regimented. Stations have formats and artists that don't fit a particular mold find themselves locked out of airplay. Cats Without Claws was also on the Geffen record label which never quite figured out how to promote a post disco Donna.
quite cool

cannot understand why this great rock song never made it. A friend of mine thought it was David Bowie, he was shocked when he found out who it was
