Speaking of "ripoffs" one of the biggest ripoffs perpetrated in this "official" video was using a "skinny" wpman in this "official" video when she wasn't even the one that rally sang this song. The woman singing this is Marth Wash of the "Weathergirls" and "Two Tons o Fun". Were they ashamed of the person who really sang this. And I dont mean the sampled a song of Marthas. She out and out sang it........Give gredit where its due

@sjbran64 yea well, WASH was unmarketable because she was so fat, thats the plain truth,plenty of great singers remain as backups for that reason ,she agreed to lend her vocals to black box, only after she thought "hey! I can sue these people" she should'nt have ate so much, anyway she got recognition at the end of the day...like I said its all old hat
This album came out in my senior year of high school grade 9 or 10 i think anyways i loved her voice, still do its a total classic always, Black Box forever <3 :D
It shows that 90's female artist showed they had talent and wore clothes, compared to some of the female talents now that feel they have to be butt naked showing next to nothing in order for people to listen to their music eg rihanna, gaga just to name a few. 90's music rocks

She grew up in the church chior-thats the only way you can bellow out thay type of sound. I knew that skinny hiefer on Blackbox could not produce that deep sound. Only someone with some weight can do it. When I first heard "everybody everybody" I knew right away it was Martha Wash and I stated they stole her sound. I WAS RIGHT!
@MrStarchild2 I had a similar experience. A friend gave me a mix tape in 1991 with "I Don't Know Anybody Else". Had no clue who it was, but could tell she was a LBW, and I was hooked. A few months later I heard those pipes again, belting out "Everybody Dance Now!" I immediately recognized it, went running to the TV to find some skinny chick. BOOOO! I knew that could'nt be the woman I'd was looking for, but I eventually found out who she was. One of the greatest vocalists of our time.
