  • Could you please give a musical example of using minor 7 flat9 chord?

  • @vecernicek2 I suppose you could play an Dm7b9 and "resolve" it to an C#m7. The tab for the chords: x 5 3 5 4 x and x 4 2 4 5 x (strings 6 5 4 3 2 1)

  • Thanks for the lessons. I have been playing guitar all my life (classical) and now trying to learn some jazz. Challenging and stimulating it is. you make me realize I need to develop my knowledge. Villa-Lobos is one of my favorite guitar composers, the choros and preludes especially. I like the idea of playing jazz on a classical guitar. It has a warmth and depth that brings a certain flavour to jazz.

  • @muzarewarri you are welcome for the lessons! I hope to get some more posted soon. I appreciate your nice comment and agree that jazz on a classical sounds very nice

  • cool... nice Mike G has you doing some classes.

his site has some the the best jazz instruction I have ever seen, with all the contemporary greats.
