This is true, However, if you take that Jeep off the road, you will have a shitty time getting over obstacles and then have a scratched up Jeep.

No one wants a Jeep that can only kick ass on the street.

No different getting over obstacles than any other Jeep Grand Cherokee of that time frame. I have a 94 GC Laredo 5.2 and two 5.9 Grand Cherokees. These 5.9s are just as capable as the other Jeeps. They didn't lower the suspension or anything. In fact, the 5.9 limited was made tougher with a stronger transfer case, transmission and locking rear diff plus other stuff. Yes, it has a straight front axle.

Wonderful, so now you have a Jeep, that has a 360 with engine mods, and street tires I presume, that is going to be racing at higher speeds then it should, on a stock ride height that is a considerable distance from the ground. I think you should double bag it. let it sit lower for the street, then bump it up for some off road driving.

Most Jeeps later than 97 came with a stronger set up and a rear Trac- loc locker. I happen to own one of these Jeeps. However mine is not a WJ or a ZJ, but an XJ
