No the refs took it away from them. Josh McCown caught a 31 yard pass to Pats 8 yard line in the fourth quarter but it was called back on a bogus PI call. Two questionable holding calls also negated big plays.
The Lions got screwed over badly by the refs in this game. I'm not a fan of them, but my heart went out to them after this game. They played their hearts out, dominated the game, but the officials took it away from them.
oh yea the refs cheated because the patriots played good. Stupid excuses
