awesome lesson! but i could not replicate the sound of when you play the string then let it hit your thumb... do you address that technique in another lesson or do you have anymore tips for it???
way to go dude, you break it down very well, even the just starters can pick it up quickly, i'm not an expert or anything but one of the people im teaching who doesnt know much was able to learn quickly from your vids, thanks bro good job
What I dig about you Sigi is that you break it down so cleanly. A lot of people try to do this by fail. Ur a hell of a good teacher my friend. Good for you to share all that you know! Peace and good vibrations.
It doesn't sound like he's playing a MicroCube (plus they don't have a bass or treble dial) but if you want a decent rhythm rock sound out of a Roland MicroCube try (all settings at o-clock): Tone@ 2 or 3, Reverb@2:30-ish (a slight delay sounds all right), on the Marshall Classic stack setting, Gain @ 3.
I thoroughly enjoyed this lesson even though I have only bookmarked it and will probably never get around to actually learning it! (with my list of bookmarked lessons getting so long, many of them Siggi's...)
Loved the intro - the lesson is to explain why you rock!
but the question remains: why do you rock? i think you answered it in an off hand way...timing! your's is impeccable. you mentioned using a metronome to practise, that is the key right there. it's the old school, ritchie blackmore philosophy...you must get your timing perfect to sound great. thx sig, you've gotten me back into in all of this again
Thanks for another great lesson. Anyone who says your playing sucks is a moron ! Your lessons really got me interested in playing again . Keep up the good work !
yeah, u rock!!!!!

great work siggi! i would like to ask if the powerchords that you play are taken from a scale or if they are just random.

A minor probably.

A minor is right, the powerchord progression is a very common one . Siggi

Sounds good with the distortion on. Michael Schenker couldn't teach us better than you.
You don't suck, you rock and furthermore you don't play specific genre, you are a generalist, that's what makes you a good teacher
