Bill Byrne (5th trumpet/road manager) disappears by the end of the tune. He was always taking care of some detail, immediately.

I saw, and met Woody at around this time at the Nice Jazz Festival. He was very old and frail. Quite sad.

What a band! Back in '85 the big bands were all still touring - Woody, Buddy, Maynard, Basie. Great times.
