  • anyone know what year this is cuz i just watched a vid from primus new years 1996

  • i think bungle takes a big confetti and glitter-filled dump on anything primus have done; brilliant bassist and all but the voice is pretty feeble

  • @fuckamericanidiot you definitely don't know what you are talking about

  • they got a great fucking light show

  • In another vid, Patton also dissed Pantera front man Phil Anselmo claiming her was gay (ha ha!). I think Patton just likes to stir shit up!

  • @bluecontagion i hope mike patton reads this

  • Comment removed

  • i love Patton & Primus!!! Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Les Claypool & the Holy Mackerals etc etc etc.... all the bands/side projects that Patton & Claypool have been in have been awesome if not innovative & interesting

  • Our comments are pretty much irrelevant honestly....so quit wasting yalls breath..

  • Mike Patton & Les Claypool = 2 Gods of our music world.....

  • they should really play together it would be epic

  • @lesclaypoolthesecond And their GOOD FRIEND BUCKETHEAD on guitar!!!

  • @oilkills i was actually thinking the same exact thing holy fucking shit lol

  • @lesclaypoolthesecond Hell fucking yes. primus' innovative rhythms contrasted with Patton's zeal for the avant garde?!?!? That would rock balls, tits, clits, and bumkins! When I am a billionaire, i am gonna commission them to create an album. YOU GUYS ALL GET A COPY FOR FREE!

  • @oilkills yeah! and have Dr Dre produce it! why not, He hasn't been doing shit! It would be so dope! And somehow get Katy Perry involved! Not musically but maybe have her strip for the video?!?! C'mon people lets make this happen!!!!!

  • Respond to this video... Oh fuck, howz about this!

Les Claypool and TREY SPRUANCE?!?!? Oh my fucking GOD!! That would literally KILL people! People would hear it, say 'oh fuck this is TOOO FUCKIN AWESOME' and they would just die like right there and then... Seriously, Claypools mastery of tone and technique combined with Spruance's vast influences to draw from as well as his Klezmer/spy Secret Chiefs sound?!?!

Damn, I wished I worked for a record company!! That idea is genius!

  • Oh shit, lets get Claypool, Patton, Chris cornell, Dr Dre, Trey Spruance, Puffy Bordin, and Trevor Dunn together!!

NOt to be in a band but to go out and beat the shit out of Justin Bieber. Film it and post it on Pay-Per-View. It will rain Benjamins for decades, kids! So much cash that the streets will look like salad bars at Wendys! Fresh Greens!

  • I love Mr. Bungle and Faith No More and Fantomas and Tomahawk and Lovage and Peeping Tom and everything else Patton has done but I have to be honest I'd rather listen to Primus and Oysterhead and Claypools Flying frog Brigade and everything else Les has done. Not to take anything away from Patton, I'd have to say that everyone who went to either of these shows that night won out on everyone else who didn't.

  • Les and Patton - Two of the coolest dudes in the history of music EVER!

  • @niminiminimnim And the residents, all three bands fucking rock.

  • @Metal6Is6A6Joke I think Claypool is a amazing bass player, very extraordinary, but considering his bass playing (taked directly of Larry Graham) he is just that, great, but never one of the best.

  • @Metal6Is6A6Joke I can really appreciate what claypool did for noob people with is "distintive" bass sound with the "alternative" band Primus. but taking that guy and calling hem one of the greatest bass players of all time is stupid. He is great, but what have he done for the music?

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre You're a fucking dumbass.

  • @MonstroMuggins yeah god bless america

  • @Metal6Is6A6Joke The same stupid argument, if people know trevor dunn or not is a irrelevant fact, if you think otherwise you are a fucking idiot, using your logic, Jonas brothers live bass player should be the greatest of all time. Mr.Dunn is one of the greatest artist of our times, and one of the greatest bass players alive up there with Scott Reeder and etc. I mean comon, what kind of ignorant prick dont know that claypool is nothing more than a white (rip off) version of Mr.Graham playing?

  • @Metal6Is6A6Joke you get wrong things then, I dont give a fuck about what band is better (but if you ask me, Mr.Bungle, hands fucking down) . I just readed a clown saying that shitty musican called les claypool is better bass player/musician/singer (lol)/ and songwriter (!) than Trevor Dunn. for someone with QUALITY taste in music like thas is just plain retarded. for an idiot, that makes sense, claypool is one of the fastest in the slap technique.

  • They booed, because Primus sucks!!!! <3

  • Does Primus still do their annual New Year's gig? It's hard to tell since their stability as a band is so shakey these days. But yes @TobiasMathe7 that'd be fuckin boss

  • @bfish420 They do indeed.

  • Hilarious, like 6 months ago, I saw Primus + FNM together

  • i love primus but even patton knows they suck

  • Comment removed

  • I would wanna see a Primus/Bungle Tour. Maybe with the Melvins thrown in there somewhere

  • @EyelessSurfacing666 too bad Mr. Bungle is dead. Patton and Dun said they were glad it was over and Mike even said that he would never sing for Mr. Bungle again. Tragic i know. I'm curious to know why there hasn't been a Patton & Claypool project yet...maybe if i ever meet one of them i'll mention it.

  • Primus suck, Except for Les Claypool... Agreed?

  • @Jwk1706 i'm confused. Primus sucks, but Les is primus...so does he or doesn't he? This primus sucks stuff is confusing as hell. How about this one, Les Claypool: god of bass.

  • @CourtJackal001 trevor dunn is better than claypool. so no, you are wrong again.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre LMAO Trevor is better than Les. Wow, the only thing more ridiculous than that is some dude claimed that Flea was better than Claypool. But the fact that you're trying to start a fight with me over bass players whom i both respect and enjoy is even more hilarious. Trever is a dynamite bassist who has a diverse range of styles, but in sheer originality and skill, Les Claypool wins every time. Why can't they both be bass gods?

  • @CourtJackal001 I am not saying that Claypool is a bad bassist, he is amazing, but in the real world, he just use the style and technique of Larry Graham and I dont like that shit, I like people who makes his own way of playing. over all these years, he plays exactly the same, boring musician, he is also a bad songwriter, he never changes. Trevor developed such a unique bass style in his life, to his work in Bungle to his best work in Trevor Dunn's Trio-Convulsant .

  • @CourtJackal001 both bass gods? hell not, A legend (Trevor Dunn) vs a bum (Claypool) it just dont have sense at all. Claypool is ain't Primus, Ler helped in the crazy sound of the band, a lot, and so did Herb.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre it has come to my attention that i'm arguing with someone who knows very little about Les Claypool...and speaking English. Before you go saying who is better, you should probably explore more than just one band from each of them. As far as range i will agree that Dunn has projects in more places than Claypool, but that does not make his style more unique than Claypools. When it comes down to it, neither of them is better, you just like one of them more.

  • @CourtJackal001 well, you have a low comprehension capacity then, just because I think Claypool is shit dont mean that I dont know anything about hem. In fact, is pretty funny, I saw Primus live some few times with Psychefunkapus in 1991, I liked the band and I REALLY appreciate Claypool for growing up bass in noobs. Les Claypool solo stuff is garbage, he never makes something new or interesting, he only likes to make the same stupid music over and over again, FUCK that shit.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre its not my comprehension that is troubled here sir, I am simply in a state of disbelief. You show mixed opinions on this issue, as you have continued to say that you don't think Les Claypool is bad, but then you proceed to call him a bum and that his music is shit. Either you are the most confused person i have ever seen, or you are simply retarded. I really don't care how much better you think Dunn is, I say they're both talented in their own right.

  • @CourtJackal001 no faggot, I think Claypool is a good bassist, but his music is SHIT and he plays like Larry Graham and other bassist so he is a BUM, is that SO HARD to understand?, yes sir, you have a low comprehension capacity, no doubt about it lol. Is not about what I think, is about what it IS, Trevor Dunn by far BETTER bassist and BETTER songwriter and WAY BETTER singer, those are all HISTORY FACTS.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre ooh, calling me a faggot. I don't think i'll ever come back from that witty insult. Before you insult my intelligence, perhaps you should learn some correct grammar/syntax so that you don't look like a complete imbecile. Unless of course that was your goal. In that case you have succeeded and then some. You are making arguments based on taste alone and that sir is a fallacy; plain and simply put. So no, nothing you have said is "HISTORY FACTS", as you so boldly claim.

  • @CourtJackal001 your a jackass. im not even aware of your conversation. but the dudes right you are a faggot. now go look at your dictionary so you can try to be cool on the internet

  • @astheemosburn666 first of all, you mean "you're a jackass"; I think you're the one who needs to do some reading before you try to look cool on the internet. Second, how is it that after i get called a faggot and a jackass for simply voicing my opinion i'm seen as the bad guy? I simply agreed with another comment and this asshole attacked me for not agreeing with him. It looks like the 2 of you are the assholes here. So please, go troll someone who gives a shit about your opinion

  • @CourtJackal001 lol your mom

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre Les is by far better than Trevor

  • @TheBen67 in a world of a 13 years old kid that thinks that being a good bass player is being faster at the slap technique.

Trevor Dunn easily better bassist and by far better musician

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre les claypool is way better for obvious reasons. do you hear any good basslines in Mr. Bungle songs? its 14 by the way and i'm in a band called Wheelchair epidemic and i write all the lyrics and the instrumental parts for it, so dont even go there with my knowledge of music

  • @TheBen67 your "knowledge" is shit and your music is probably shit as well. I play in a band and I write songs as well, alone. So I dont give a fuck about your totally irrelevant fact.

claypool WISH he could play bungle basslines, or even yet, he WISH he could write songs like "Carry Stress in the Jaw", too bad, he needs more talent.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre look up some primus songs. american life, jerry was a racecar driver, my name is mud, and DMV are proof of claypools talent

  • @TheBen67 look up some primus songs? kid, I was THERE when primus was growing up in California I saw them live back in the day a lot. you dont even read my whole comment, just the "trevor dunn is better than claypool" part....

Check "Arnie" thats Claypool best shit, best groove by hem

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre ik, its on my ipod. but skillwise, claypool is better

  • @TheBen67 claypool will never be better than trevor at something

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre hes better at everything!!!!!

  • @TheBen67 not really, but thanks.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre claypool is better than trevor at bass, songwriting, and singing

  • @TheBen67 no, no and no.

better at songwriting? so you call that shitty record "Antipop" better than only one song called "Phlegmatics"? of course you do, you are only 14. Bungle is to much for you, lucky you know the band...I dont even need to talk about bungle songs. Trevor Dunn's Trio Convulsant speaks by himself.

better singer? that is just plain retarded.

Better bass player? considering claypool bass playing (wich is basically a larry graham imitation) is kinda even more retarded.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre patton is better than claypool at songwriting and singing but trevor isnt. claypool is a far more versatile bassist than trevor. there aren't a lot of bass focused Mr. Bungle songs. Mr. Bungle isnt known for anything bass related. I love both bands but Claypool is a far better bassist

  • @TheBen67 Patton do is better than claypool at songwriting and singing, and so is Trevor and so is Trey Spruance. Claypool is a TERRIBLE songwriter he is not even descent. how can you say something so stupid? based on what? on your knowledge of music?. of ALL the greatest bands of the 90s you pick up Primus wich was only a DESCENT (not event that good) band for some couple years. Trevor Dunn will be always the better, that is not even an opinion kid, the music speaks by himself.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre ask people if they know primus, they do but not many people know mr. bungle

  • @TheBen67 Look kid, let me explain something to you. Music is Art, art is coming from the deepest feeling of the human soul. Art have ZERO to do with how many people knows something, because art have ZERO to do with commercialism and EASY UNDERSTANDING. So, if you want to call yourself a "Musician" or somebody that have a big knowledge of music, dont expose yourself like an ignorant clown with laughable opinions.

  • @TheBen67 if I ask you (or people) if you know MELVINS/KYUSS/EARTH/MASTERS OF REALITY/FATSO JETSON/YAWNING MAN/COLOUR HAZE you will say NO, and only one of those bands take a dump on any shit you like.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre i know all of those bands, im not an idiot. i listen to a lot of music (of those the melvins are the best) id rather listen to primus than any of them tho

  • @TheBen67 of those, Kyuss are the best, keep trying...

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre melvins are better, ive listened to both various times

  • @TheBen67 Melvins is one of my fav bands of all time, but Kyuss music was pure magic, something TOTALLY natural and spontaneous. a 100% jam band. "Blues For the Red Sun" to "...And Circus Leaves Town" pure genious rock. This is hard to say, Like I say, Melvins means a lot for me.

And talking about bass players, Scott Reeder (Kyuss) is one of the greatest top 5 bass players of human history. lol.

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre houdini by the melvins = awsomest album

  • Comment removed

  • @yovioleatuzorramadre i personally liked houdini but I understand what you mean

  • @TheBen67 So you write music, therefore you have a great knowledge of music? Dude, your music could (and most likely does) suck dick.

"Hi I'm a 13 year old emo girl and I write poetry, therefore I'm up there with Lord Byron" - give me a break.

And do I hear good basslines in Bungle songs? Hell yes!

  • @MrVinushka I happen to be 15 and in a band that plays paid gigs throughout Rhode Island. I have absolutely 0 haters for my band and a have been told that my basslines sound like they came from someone who has been playing for many years. I admire both Mr. Bungle and Primus but in terms of bass, Primus is better

  • @TheBen67 Again, that's proof of nothing, and doesn't necessarily qualify you to make those judgements.

P.S. The fact that you have no haters means fuckall. I can't think of a single great band which doesn't have haters, so if anything it just means your band hasn't made a big enough impact to encourage strong opinions either way.

  • @MrVinushka lol i wasn't trying to start an argument, wow, you internet trolls are always so angry, I am entitled to my opinion about Mr. Bungle and Primus

  • @TheBen67 Finally you admitted it was an opinion, not a fact that you're qualified to know. Case closed.

  • Wow, all this band knows how to do is mock other bands. its like Mad TV. but even worse.

  • Mike Patton loves Primus..... Oh god! Now I love Patton even more! :D

  • Comment removed

  • All of this is nonsense

This video is from the Millenium Night gig in San Francisco with Mr Bungle/Fantomas/Melvins, and I was there. Mike is mentioning Primus just because that night they were playing somewhere else in San Francisco for another Millenium gig . The crowd is booing just to take the piss out of those who went to see Primus rather than at the band. It was a way to say "this is the best party!".

  • so do i primus rocks i was into primus when i got into faith back in the 80s WOW

  • @dagnaste01

Are we talking like 1989 now or are you one of the blessed few who knew about Primus before Suck On This? :O

  • I'm seeing Primus soon :D

  • Primus fucking sucks. Kudos to Mike Patton for giving them a hats off.

  • @mikeyheartskateboard primus does suck. but hating on another band makes you suck even more. I mean, are you really so insecure about your musical talent as to feel the need to make fun of a band that only someone who is either really stupid or really fucking high could even enjoy? so Mr. Bungle is now pretty much bottom of the barrel. If i ever go to one of their concerts it will only be so I can throw a tomato at patton.

  • @Porojukaha "Primus sucks" is Primus' slogan. It's like saying Primus is awesome. So me saying "Primus fucking sucks" means I think Primus is amazing. Ya know?

  • @mikeyheartskateboard Got nothing against Primus, But you confuse me... :|

  • Comment removed

  • You are supposed to say "Primus Sucks" It goes back a looooong time. Thats how we tell Primus how Bad Ass they are!!!!

  • ......people never understand sarcastic humor, got the same dummies asking "why is the crowd saying Primus sucks" ......its what they do, they are both old bands from the same general area with different styles, but not too many people can figure that out

  • Fucking people, ass fucked and sying one baand is better then the other...pff it`s all music. I find it hard to know when Mike`s being sarcastic and when he`s not. I`m thinking he ws serious, because he always supported bands who were just as weird as his.

  • Pfff, you idiots. Mike does like Primus. There's pictures of him wearing Primus shirts. Years ago there was a rumor that he and Les (another genius) would be colaborating in a new project together. Oh yeah, and Faith No More invited Primus to play with them as the opening act to the last show of The Second Coming Tour in Chile in a month.

Yeah, he REALLY doesn't like Primus, right? ¬¬

  • @rockforchoicee

if they do anything together i will fucking cry blood infused tears of joy

  • @rockforchoicee

Right on! Bungle & Primus played like 1 show together in SF. Patton also wore a Frizzle Fry T-shirt back in '91 when FNM were in Rio.

  • Patton's a great talet but a douche. There's no reason he should be ripping on Primus. Primus shares a large portion of the Bungle fan base. They make music their own way just like Bungle, and didn't rehash old ideas to a commercial formula

  • Primus owns Mr Bungle so fucking much its not even funny

  • Comment removed

  • Primus SUCKS!

  • hell yees

  • please, can anybody write what he's saying, i speak spanish and i don't understand a thing... thanks!

  • they're both fantastic bands which i would say are pretty stylistically similar. pretty sure Bungle was influenced by Primus.

whatever. I fucking love them both.

    especially Mr. Bungle

  • people just gotta stop taking everything so serious. i've seen patton live more times than i can easily count, spanning FNM, bungle, and tomahawk, and thats just how patton is on stage, he's always clowning on somebody, but i don't think any of is meant to be malicious, just funny, and usually it is really funny IMO. Just take it as a joke, thats all it is

  • remember little guys, primus and mr bubgle are a great inflence out there and down, they was together on tour in 1992.

  • NEWSFLASH: Mike Patton LIKES Primus. Mike and Les are friends. Plus, Mr. Bungle was influenced by the early Primus records.

  • I don't know why you guys are arguing about Mike Patton and Les Claypool when Mike has stated in some interviews that he's a fan of Primus. In fact, I read some time ago that there was a possibility of the two of them collaborating together in a project (which would be amazing).

Both of them are incredible musicians: like someone said before, Les Claypool is a bass god and Mike is a god of music as an art form. And yes, Trevor Dunn kicks MAJOR ass (the guy is simply awesome).

  • Comment removed

  • Primus sucks!

  • Primus tear everything Mike Patton ever did to shreds

so what im trying to say is that...PRIMUS IS BETTER THAN MIKE PATTON

  • @YouFuckenConformists

Sounds like you're conforming to popular beliefs. You conformist. Here, here. Just drip into this mold. The one of America and their saturated love for Primus. Here's another one hot off the press. You're just like everybody else.

  • primus are class, claypool is 1 funny guy and 1 of the best bass players ever.patton is more like an artist that puts his art in musical form but his bands have been responsible for some of the best music ever so the guys obviously got talent

  • Why is everyone just talking about Patton? Primus are gods. Mr. Bungle are gods. Great! End of story.

  • all i can say is PRIMUS SUCKSSSSSSS!!!

  • Seeing Primus and Mr. Bungle on the same bill--that's my idea of pure bliss

  • hilarious. he basically insulted all the people who were booing primus by telling them even if you don't like the music and you payed to see them play, you can still enjoy the light show, "dude."

  • Les is a bass god and Patton is a voice god. Why would anyone argue over both of them? They have created some of the weirdest and most awesome music ever. There's no way Patton can't like Primus. He's just always being sarcastic and shit. But if not, why? You just can't hate Primus. Claypool has so much talent in him. Trevor Dunn though, is very underrated such as Billy Gould from FNM.

  • Primus and Patton had pleanty of influence on music. Claypool is a master of string and Patton of voice. The thing is, primus lead to a lit of jam bands. I like both a lot, but I hate jam bands, so Patton wins as far as better influence. Both are can't miss live, any form of Patton from Bungle to Peepshow or Claypool from Primus to cl Claypool and bucket of bernie brains. Primus sucks!

  • i would've thought that people who like Patton would also like Primus/Claypool, just makes sense

  • @crazyedd123 I love Primus and Patton! They're both really talented!

  • What dicks can people be to Primus?

  • who the fuck boos primus?

  • PRIMUS SUCKS!!

    (it means I love Primus)

  • @AgnosticAnton HEEEY! SOMEBODY WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE TALKIN ABOUT! THATS SADLY A RARIETY

  • Comment removed

  • I doubt Patton has anything against Primus, considering he and Les seem to have a similar manner of thinking creatively and differently. I think he's basically just saying ''well if you didn't like them that's your opinion but hey I thought they were pretty good!"

  • is lord pattonsort of slagging primus? surley not..now theres a thoguth who do i like moar les or mike....fuck..

  • Its awesome that he mentions Primus but the way he did it...I dont know if he is amusing himself or in an indirect way wanted the audience to boo...he could of said "PRIMUS is playing right now and I love those guys!!"....oh well whatever.

  • What does he actually say?? I cant make it out.

  • he says "if you dont like the music thats cool, the got a great fucking light show"

  • W PRIMUS

  • These kind of discussions always ends in the same way:

    Batman is stronger than Spiderman?

  • the fact is, the retarded people who go to see mike patton will literally cheer at whatever he says because he is mike patton. once their handicapped minds realize what he had actually said, they booed at primus. obviously mike patton has no beef with primus or vice versa. fuck this independent hipster audience. none of these people booing have ever seen a real live show before.

  • who boos Primus? Primus kicks ass so does mr. bungle but i like primus more than mb

  • PRIMUS SUCKS!!!

  • It is you sir who are ignorant. I have been to plenty of Primus shows in the past two and a half decades in which "PRIMUS SUCKS!!" is an endearing chant which a true fan is familiar with.

  • Why argue with someone so stupid? I'm not even a Primus fan and even I know that fans yell Primus sucks.

  • @ignoramos76 PRIMUS SUCK

  • Thank you.

  • though the projects mike patton involves himself in DO usually turn to gold.

  • im just laughing at the fact someone said les is no mike patton. seeing primus live would be a fucking trip compared to seeing mr.bungle live. sure mike can make some sounds with his voice, he but can't compose or play an instrument. any decent musician would agree.

  • patton is a son of a bitch. les is a good dude, and a great musician as well. patton is driven by the musicians that back him, and way too fucking arrogant about it.

  • FALSE

anyone in the music industry KNOWS that patton play many instruments and compose. you need to get some information before posting

    cheers!

  • Patton's composed films. The whole soundtrack to "A Perfect Place" and "Crank 2: High Voltage". That being said, Les Claypool is one of my favourite musicians, and Patton is too. Anyways, look it up before saying he can't play an instrument, he basically plays them all.

  • Patton can play instruments (bass, keyboards and various electronic devices), and he does compose (or at least arrange) a lot of the music he's involved with. Hell, he composes whole film soundtracks! That coupled with the fact that he's an extremely versatile vocalist makes him a "decent musician", and you're joking if you think otherwise.

  • @ska2808 he still comes off as kinda a dick though

  • Really? I've never seen any evidence of him being a dick - maybe a bit sarcastic at times, but who isn't? And even if he is arrogant or whatever, he's more than earned it! I'd say he was surprisingly humble considering his huge list of achievements.

  • @Abgulu

what an ignorant comment. You obviously don't know anything about mike patton. he plays multiple instruments and contributes to much of the songwriting/composing on his projects.

  • primus has impacted music way more than mike patton ever will... without primus, patton's career would be so much weaker. who the hell would boo primus ? mike patton just seems like a skimper, stripped down version of primus in the first place.

  • Oh my god can you go fail at life somewhere else?

I love Primus but it's safe to say, Les is no Mike Patton.

  • and Mike Patton is no Les.

  • ignorant

  • PRIMUS SUCKS!!!!

  • Most people have no idea who Primus is, so to say they've "impacted music more than Mike Patton ever will" is absurd. Faith No More were probably one of the most influential bands of the 90s, and many contemporary bands have credited them and Mike - hell, even fucking Lady GaGa was inspired by him!

Mr. Bungle, likewise, have been very influential, although on a smaller scale.

  • Haha, I like the expression on his face after the crowd reaction. I love Primus, but its not hard for me to understand why people wouldn't dig them.

  • "You guys go out and see PRIMUS!!!"

    Crowd: "Yeahhhhhh! *pause* BOOOOOO!"

  • that just shows the fact his fans will cheer whenever mike patton opens his mouth, but once their dumbass minds take a few seconds to interpret what hes communicating, they boo primus. ironic its live because primus live would rip this guy to pieces, even though theres obviously no beef with the bands.

  • obviously you dont get the video meaning.

  • HAHA Patton kicks anybodys ass live

  • @Abgulu

ive seen patton live, ive seen claypool live, they're BOTH awesome.

i love that patton loves them :P and i boo the audience!

  • OH MY GOD!

Do you think he could he get them to tell Primus that they suck?

    You're just clueless.

  • primus...fantomas...mr.bungle...tomahawk...peeping tom...faith no more...etc jajajaj

  • Sarcasm? Sure, hence why the two bands have played together LOADS, the fact that Primus and FNM were great friends, they're from the same area etc....

    Definite sarcasm, obviously....

  • wow, looks like some people don't understand the subtleties of sarcasm.

  • I have a feeling he was being sarcastic.

  • those fucks were booing primus

    FUCK EM

  • Primus was around before them and Patton himself said Claypool was a musical inspiration of his.

  • actuaaaalllly...they were around about the same time if you want to be accurate. I also dont ever remember Patton stating that they were an inspiration at all. Maybe Fishbone of John Zorn, but not Primus. I dont even hear any similarities anyway

  • Fishbone OR Jon Zorn...sorry, im about to fall asleep

  • PRIMUS SUCKS

  • agreed
