@peo8004 specs do tell the whole story, get a PC or laptop with an intel 'core' series CPU or newer with Nvidia graphics and there is a 70% chance you can install mac os on it.

Search hackintosh on google for a full hardware support list, i believe its legal if you own the software you plan to install, although i would check that out to be sure.

you can then buy a £300 laptop and turn it into a £800 mac thats cheap to upgrade and repair with windows 7 on it also.
