Graphics used to be so much better. What happened to the giant canons on the thors? What happened to the awesome flame animation from the hellions? Now they look so weak.
Dude... They have tv channels, tournaments and so on everywhere in South Korea. They're like super starcraft nerds almost all of them. So they would get kinda piss'd off if they didn't get to play Sc 2 early. And btw it's just alpha version, so it isn't especially good..

Not all computer games are simple. Certain computer games, like starcraft, require higher think, calculation and experience to play properly or decently. The mechanics and depth of gameplay employed by Starcraft could arguably fringe on the depth of gameplay involved with chess.
Also some of these guys get payed BIG for playing SC. They win sponsorships. Recently, Nada signed a 3 or 4 year contract for 400000 USD. Poor them right?

I want this game so badly! Man Terrans rule, just for the fact that they have tanks n big mechanized things. Battlecruisers are awsome, Im glad they made them shoot faster cause for its cost and production time it was weak for a Capital ship. Although I seriously doubt the attack power is the same. Thors, Siege Tanks, Battlecruisers mmmm so destructive. People who get to help out by testing the beta are lucky.

as a C&C fan... and i like starcraft.. but i now realize why they changed up the C&C games alot.. like look at this! it's like seeing the same stuff.. It's a new unit called the Hellion. It shoots fire which has a large area of effect, so the Hellion is useful for taking out masses of weak units like the marine. It used to be called a Jackal, and is like the Vulture from the StarCraft I. It is faster than the Reaper, and is a good ambush unit if it's on higher ground than the enemy units.
obsolete? are you a robot? they aren't obsolete. every unit has it's advantages and disadvantages. the weak marines can be used to protect a base. if produced in mass numbers. and the ghost is good for recon. ect ect yadda yadda yadda.you get the point.

They delay the game so more people purchase it before it's even made so they get more money by slowing it's release down. Also the game is not about APM at all. I've watch hall of fame 104 clips of Boxer and many other clips about PRO players and they still make stupid mistakes despite the HIGH APM so it's about exact unit placement and scouting ofcorse ;). I don't understand why Boxer didn't managed to stop the BC's of iloveoov in their very long game in the desert?

you know what the terrans need? a heavy infantry unit with a HMG that fires a stream of bullets with damage over time and splash damage in a straight line. i think that would fit better than the jackal

i don't mind the new voice for the alerts (such as 'upgrade complete'), its actually really nice, but i am going to miss the original one. She sounded better and i just grown to love that voice.
thor is like now a heavy antiair unit , it reminds me the archon who can destroy like 12 mutas all by himself if they are together, but still i dont like heavy anti air units i prefer cheap anti air units like the goliaths.
its a bug/feature, what Blizzard want to in SC2 like it was in SC:BW.
its good for the gameplay... doesnt look realistic, but man be realistic to the game too ... zergs, protoss doesnt even exist in real ^^ :), so it would be no problem ;)

dude, they way pro's use the old brood war units has made builds that seem unbeatable if used well. Do YOU think that blizzard wanted a well micro'd vult to be able to kill an archon? The usage of units has made pro's, well PROS, if you think all they have over a normal player is APM then you ARE stupid. Plus nearly as many copies of SC were sold in Korea alone in comparison to the rest of the world, its normally called catering to the market? Bekuz to blizz its all about money

That's what i hate in Blizz
They delay the game so more people purchase it before it's even made so they get more money by slowing it's release down. Also the game is not about APM at all. I've watch hall of fame 104 clips of Boxer and many other clips about PRO players and they still make stupid mistakes despite the HIGH APM so it's about exact unit placement and scouting ofcorse ;). I don't understand why Boxer didn't managed to stop the BC's of iloveoov in their very long game in the desert?

umm... its not just the koreans who had the opportunity to play the game pre-release... french played it too on wwi 2008 in paris.. people from 27 countries played it on blizzcon 08 in anaheim... im korean and i still havent played it so i dont understand your why ur so frustrated... think before u comment something like that...

It's good to test it before release for bugs. But I didn't like the descrimination. Why I couldn't played it but only better players? I could find lots of bugs :) =).

you are all idiots this game comes out 12/3/08 you all realize i hope. I cant believe you said without any support at all that this game isnt even halfway finished. Lemme tell you how far along it is, THEY COULD RELEASE IT RIGHT NOW IF THEY WANTED TO BUT THEY WANT IT TO BE perfect ( like all blizzard games). you know what the terrans need? a heavy infantry unit with a HMG that fires a stream of bullets with damage over time and splash damage in a straight line. i think that would fit better than the jackal

Savior was saying they didn't know much beyond just the stuff on the surface, due to lack of play time.
Imagine two renouned gamers playing a brand new fighting game against each other when they don't know any of the moves, mechanics, or intricacies. That's the case here. People expect some insightful comment from Savior, but what is there really to say when he doesn't even really "know" the game yet? Personally, I think that's what Savior was basically saying in a round-about way.

i don't mind the new voice for the alerts (such as 'upgrade complete'), its actually really nice, but i am going to miss the original one. She sounded better and i just grown to love that voice.

thor is like now a heavy antiair unit , it reminds me the archon who can destroy like 12 mutas all by himself if they are together, but still i dont like heavy anti air units i prefer cheap anti air units like the goliaths.

its good for the gameplay... doesnt look realistic, but man be realistic to the game too ... zergs, protoss doesnt even exist in real ^^ :), so it would be no problem ;)
