Been using the Metabo for about 6-7 years so the speed dial location isn't an issue, can happily adjust the speed with my little finger and judge the rpm by the sound.

Flex is a great machine, did consider one but found it a little on the light side.

Do you like or dislike the placement of speed setting dial on the metabo that you are using. I went with a Flex PE14-2 for my first rotary.

cheers, it's a 3M finishing pad, cutting power would be very low.
