Cecil, Cloud, and Tidus are easy to pick up in my opinion. The problem with Garland is that most of his attacks, although powerful, has a huge delay for quicker characters to get some hits in. Perhaps my view of this is because I primarily use Onion Knight.

Actually, I've been working on (very slowly, mind you) a sort of backwards version. Tidus fighting Jecht, falling into the void, appearing on the FF9 stage and having Kuja killing him, bringing in Zidane, etc. Sort of moving back through the final fantasies and stuff. Kinda hard to explain.

the cons is his move speed and some attacks have a delay to start, based on the attack animation.... the pros are his great phisical strenght(and the damage), and his EX Mode that makes u resistance to knockback while attacking... which is a fucking great ability =D

also, he has a large variety of attacks, making him very versatile. and.. at last.... he's a fucking walking plate of evil and brutality (L)

Well, if I added all 11 heroes I would have had to have less than a minute per fight. Hardly enough time to at least give everyone their appropriate time. The original video was 14 minutes, onion knight included. Trust me, if I could reasonably do garland Vs absolutely everyone, I would, but with only 10 minutes to work with, I had to make cutbacks.
