You can pound many types of meat, but don't try to pound your fish meat... it's already soft enough and then it might try to spray all over the place and make a mess. Just pound lightly and evenly and stay back from the edges. If it starts to separate then you have pounded it enough. Remember, we are just trying to flatten it a little bit to allow the ingredients to soak inside. This recipe is yummy - you will love it. Let me know how it turns out.
