This isn't really a sisters type itrack. if anything, it sounds like the Church.

anyway, 'judas christ' was more pop, definitely, or at least gothic-pop, if that's even a 'genre' anymore, but it's a unique and underrated album, and so is 'Prey'.

The reason i prefer 'Prey' just slightly is because it merges the pop like hooks with the dark atmospheric quality of their mid 90's albums.

'Anathemes' was a huge disappointment for me. Edlund's voice is shot, and he sounds ocnfused.

Well, this song is quite good in its own way. Gotta love artists who arent afraid to do stuff they want to. Personally I dislike very much stagnated artists/bands and am all for Glenn Danzig, Tiamat, Paradise Lost who aren't afraid to do and experiment different kind of venues when they choose to. Move, move, move even if it proves to be backwards afterwards.

They made excellent albums, but how many times can one reach the level of "wildhoney"? Lets face it - it's poprock now but it still has it's charm.

Edlund is a master indeed - and having the courage to come forward with such a message through his music is absolutely remarkable especially considering the metal/doom/gothic history of the band - I mean, today any song having words like 'love' or 'life' and a positive vibe is labeled 'pussy' or 'shit' or 'gay'. this song is purely beauty and inspiration (though the red heart in the video is kindda kitch)

Great song, started to listen to Tiamat back in nineties. Clouds was and still is damned good album, though i like every other album of theirs too. Great diversity and can see how the band (Johan Edlund) has grown both musically and spiritually.
