thats a good 2k under redline, I found that shifting right before redline was best for my NA motor, and letting it go up to redline for a 0-60 run was the quickest.

The limiter doesn't go to 8 that's weird. Mine does, and your car is slower than my 300zx NA. I gutted mine too and I have light weight seats. Took out at least 250 pounds off the original weight. But yeah, mine goes all the way to 8 RPM's.
im guessing the video poster does not know much about cars, because it doesnt really matter how old the car is, its how well its maintained, and ya my 93 accord with minor mods could keep up with that....
it does matter how old it is when you have not owned the car from the dealer.
I picked up mine with over 100k on the clock and its been driven quite hard, I was planning on a rebuild but its getting harder with money and sourcing parts.
This was not a good pull I know this it was more me having fun with Windows Movie maker that an actual run, I'm working on a new video I just have limited time.

I was in an accident involving a tree so I wont have another video until I get some new tires and an alignment, but at least its getting warmer outside so I can make a better video on a flat surface!

Redlining it isn't the best thing to do, i find in mine shifting at 5.5k rpm is the best for torque.
