I'm in Illinois! Thanks for your comments. I just try to find places where there is little human activity, and film there. The bucks are much more receptive to running during the day. Deer are always out there, but most older bucks are nocturnal, especially in heavy hunted areas.

I've hunted deer mostly with bow for over 18 years. In the last 4 years I've done more filming than hunting. I've seemed to learn a lot more about the whitetail deer, and have gotten closer to them since I have been filming. I feel they know when I have a weapon in my hands. Nah, just kiddin.
