Loved Ioan as Lancelot. Lancelot is a great character! Clive Owen on the other hand played Arthur with no emotions and I didn't care for him at all. Was really wishing for Lancelot and Guinevere!

Director Antoine Fuqua said he did not want Lancelot/Guinevere to get together, although there is an attraction between them. He wanted Lancelot to remain loyal to Arthur. After all, they had fought together like brothers for 15 years. Yet, Lance teases Bors and Gawain about sleeping with their women...did he mean it? Or was he just messing with their heads for fun?

I disagree. Arthur and Guinevere go better together. I just like the character of Arthur better, overall. And Lancelot said himself that he would have left Guinevere in the prison to die. Arthur saved her.

Although I like the Arthur and Guinevere pairing I have to admit that Guinevere and Lancelot in this movie had more....chemistry together than Arthur and Guinevere. Plus I read somewhere that Lancelot only said that so he wouldn't come between her and Arthur.
