That's a totally untrue statement. Globe shoes are amazing, I have a pair of these and there great. I put extra pads in the bottom because of slight discomfort, but there great to skate in, good tough shoes. I've had them for allmost 3 months and go skating basically every Saturday, + Some weekdays and there one of the best pairs i've owned.
