  • Bring it back to NYC!! I would love to see it D:

  • Hey, at 49 seconds, there are the binoculars they didn't have in th crow's nest!

  • Its bullshit that people think that just because someone died in shipwreck that it is a grave and should'nt be disturbed. Those people did'nt want to die there. I think that preserving history is more important than worrying about disturbing the dead. Everyone wants to be remembered. Thats why people put up grave stones. By seeing these artifacts we are remembering what happened to those ships and their passengers good or bad. Its not a grave, its just where people met misfurtune.

  • @jerywilliams Agreed, all of this "Oh no, let's leave all of these precious beautiful pieces of architecture, woodwork and art to rot in the ocean" seems ludicrous.

  • ok

  • I would love to see this exhibition...i live right by NYC!

but on the other hand, personally, i wouldn't take these artifacts away from Titanic and the remains of the passengers...they're a part of their home...though that's just me.

  • @tallicAgrl9051 The artifacts are slowly being ate away. In a few decades Titanic will be completley gone. The way I see it these artifacts being taken and preserved means that the passengers and liner is forever remembered. There is nothing like a true memorial than being able to touch, feel, or see it. We can all "learn" about the Titanic but having been to the Artifact Exhibition myself you have never experienced or felt the tradegy and respect for the individuals lost until you've went.

  • i went to it when i was in las vegas 3-4 years sgo

  • is this exhibition still in new york? i really want to see this! it looks amazing! :o

  • shouldn't these belong to a museum??

Oh wait, that way Discov. & other jerks couldn't ripp off people...

  • @RRRAAALLLUUUCCCAAA

if your willing to see less titanic but some unique artifacts that are not owned by these guys check out the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax. They have the lounge panel piece, a deck chair, and pieces of newell post as well as many other interesting exhibits and they dont care if you take pictures :)

  • @zequelll 10x ab this

  • I saw this in Chicago like 6 years ago!

  • this looks amaaaazing. hopefully when i go to NY ill go here.

  • This was amazing! I was there 3 days ago and it was such an eye opening amazing thing to see. It was so touching and sad. Everyone should see it!

  • they should have jack dawsons bones on display LOL

  • where the hell did yoy gete the piece of Titanic-coal????????????

  • @larserikgill They were selling it right around 1996/97 I have a piece

  • @larserikgill - They are pretty hard to obtain nowadays...I was lucky... I own a large, framed piece of coal from Titanic, actually authenticated by R.M.S. Titanic, Inc., about three inches in length! Yes..it was expensive!

  • they should have put the music from the movie so everyone gets all emotional lol

  • blah blah blah get rid of the fuckin comershals that are like a super brag

  • wow you would get to see a dead person and a pair of pants for twenty dollars if you wen to a grave yard you'd see all that for free plus you get to still have money to BUY a pair of pants sorry but that seems like a rip off

  • i went there and got a piece of the titanic i have coal from the actuall titanic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if u dont belive me check out my video The Titanic Artifacts My Name Is SuspeciousComedyCall By my Real name is Rew

  • go die then plox?

  • Once everybody else does, gladly

  • THeres got to be a reason why people die everyday!

  • yes there is, to make way for all the people being born every day.

  • how much do you think those cards cost 0:32

  • Don't know but, I bet if you tried really hard, you could find a dollar store that sells brand new ones in packs of 52.

  • priceless

  • probly 11000 dollars haha

  • Oh I want to go and see this exhibition so bad! I love the Titanic!

  • I just got back from seeing it, and it was AMAZING!:-)

  • woo

  • shouldnt they know they should keep artifacts where they belong

don't take stuff thaqt aren't yours

  • Sounds somewhat like graverobbing to meh.

  • The Titanic.. And LUCY.

  • i Saw this In Baltimore MD back in 2005 might see it this year too :D

  • it's just an opinion, nothing more, I have always had a problem with people taking artifacts from what amounts to a grave site. doesn't matter how long the people have been dead, it's still a grave site to me. Doesn't matter how long ago the wreck happened, or the fact the victims bodies have disappeared. Like i said, it's an opinion, nothing more. This is just like the many Indian grave sites that were raided for artifacts. Grave sites are sacred places, and should be treated as such.

  • The artifacts should have been left where they were. Whoever recovered them is robbing a grave site. Over 1500 People are still entombed in the Titanic wreck. so that makes the wreck a grave site. I hope karma comes around to bite them on the ass.

  • i c ur point but we want to keep the memories alive and one of the wayProxy-Connection: keep-alive

    Cache-Control: max-age=0

20to do that is to get a few (not all) artifacts

  • Maybe it is a way to honor the dead, but it doesn't mean i have like it. but that's just my opinion.

  • oh wow the preservation is amazing

  • I was in New York in May this year.

  • they have someehing like this in florida its called the titantic experience

  • the money most likely goes towards continued restoration of the relics as well as costs to travel back and forth.

  • You obviously have no respect for history.

  • Wow! That's a smart remark.

Let's just say I'm not a liberal greedy jackass like you who believe money grows on trees.

It's too bad you weren't one of those who went down April 14, 1912. But, I don't give up hope yet. You may get hit by a bus!

  • The people who recovered these artifacts obviously had no respect for the 1500+ dead still entombed in the wreck.

  • Dude, no offence but its been almost a century. Ther bodies have all rotted away or eaten. And if the artifacts make ppl remember the titanic, and those who died, how is that wrong?

  • No offense taken. I am Native American, and this, to me, is along the same lines of the grave sites of my ancestors being raided for artifacts, some of which ended up in museums, so some good came out of it.

  • I do wish they didnt do that...

  • Me too, You have a good day.

  • i disagree....bring more to the surface to learn about the titanic before she will gone

  • Well yes it is important, and the thing will be gone son, so why not. But are you sure you are disagreeing?

  • I do wish I didn't not unbellybutton de-f*ck you not smoking unhot anti-big de-boobed hermana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well, you're welcome to think anything the drugs make you think, dear.

  • haha lol

  • Well thats new.

  • They just had this in Atlanta, Georgia. It was fantastic. They even gave you a ticket with a passengers name on it. At the end you get to find out if your passenger survives or not. Believe it or not I got an Irish immigrant in 3rd class named Mr. Edward Ryan. Believe it or not he actually lived.

  • ohhh thats pretty cool!

  • I saw this when it was in Tampa

  • Oh i love titanic, flying to new york tommorrow and going to see it.

  • whos lucy ???/

  • She is a 3.2 million-year-old Hominid fossil from Ethiopia or Kenya.

  • Some scientist feel it might be an ancient Gorilla that has nothing to do with humans.

  • Who cares about some bitch named Lucy? More people are going to see the Titanic exhibit.

  • Lucy dwarfs Titanic in scientific & historical significance.

  • 20 bux..not bad

  • Nice that stuff is held from display for so many years :(

  • 20 bucks is steep

  • The story of theTitanic has already been told. Look up Titanic Seconds From Disaster and you'll see.

  • all i want is that giant diamond!

  • esto estubo en mi ciudad, en monterrey mexico

  • The artifacts have to tell the story now cause there's nobody left to tell it. The last living survivor of the titanic died like a month or so ago.

  • I seen this show in Victoria B.C. (2007) It was amazing! I highly recommend it.

  • What an amazing exhibition... It would be well worth seeing from the historical significance point of view.

  • i dont mind valuable parts of the ship and stuff but dead people close and stuff and valuable items i dnt think thats right uno like digging up a grave and steeling ppls clothes from it i mean like if it was something like 500 years old and forgoten it would be more of a real historical lerning thingy but i jst dont agree with it

  • I saw the similar exhibition in vegas, and it was really amazing. Its well worth the $20 guys, just go and take in every little bit

  • Twenty Third ;)

  • I saw this in Manchester, UK a few years ago =] was really interesting. I've touched part of Titanic's hull though :D

  • is the movie titanic about the same thing?

  • @ ipddd: I'm assuming that you're serious, the answer to your question is Yes and No.

Yes, the movie got most of the facts right about the sinking of RMS Titanic.

    *BUT*

No, there was not a Jack Dawson or a Rose DeWitt Bukater onboard. That part is fiction.

Damndest thing, I was still crying at the end of the movie. (me 6'6", 300# of flab-covered muscle, children are scared of me.)

  • actually, there was a passenger on Titanic named Jack Dawson but he was not as portrayed in the movie. James Cameron was asked about this and he said it was just a coincidence. He did not even know about Titanic having a real passenger named Jack Dawson on board. You can read about it on IMDb..

  • Yeah, but I doubt he wrote the movie. I'm too lazy to look though.

  • Interesting! Thanks for that =D

  • it is not jack it is joseph.

  • i been there lol

  • that's pretty cool.

  • $20 to see mostly junk. I'll pass

  • It's not junk, it's history. Items from a time long past, a tragic moment in our history that needs to be remembered.

  • yeah, but for $20 i rather go to the holocaust museum in D.C. or another museum that has interesting things. i dont want to pay see an ALMOST complete light bulb.

  • lol well I have to say, I can understand that in a way. I also would love to see the Holocaust Museum in DC.

  • thts amazing my great grandpa was on the uss arizona right before the bombings in pearl harnor

  • Pause at 1:28

To the left there's a sign which reads "....GÅRD".

    What's the full name?

  • im dunno look at the reflection in the mirror beside it i cant really make it out

  • I went to the Miami Science Museum Exhibition and the artifac that really impressed me was the metal door where you see through the porthole in either perspective.. that was amazing:)

  • If you want to see the skeletons they have, you have to pay extra.

  • i hope it comes to my town

  • my great great grandparents had tickets to the titanic but had to sell them because their baby, my great grandmother was sick so they came to America on the next ship over.

  • damn they were lucky...if you are not lieing :))

  • why would i lie about my family history, i am not at a high school reunion?

  • amazing.

  • Good for them, they might have died if they went with the trip :D

  • Yeah, I checked it out when it came to my city. It was very interesting.

  • Cool

  • last out of these ones o.o

  • are you proud of yourself?
