  • brother

God has given you a great voice.

Use this voice for God only

    God Bless You

  • Cool, man. :) Love this song.

  • Very nice version, but it just seems a better idea to have ones hair tied back off the sholders when singing this out of respect for HaShem.

    Bananna

  • Nice. I like this song. By the blood of the lamb! You sing like you have been to the holy of the holies. Annointed.

  • dude i am a musician and this version is better than any other i have heard with music your voice is incredible.

  • love this song i first heard it through my dad.you sang clear and every word was heard thanks.been trying to find this song and it was here all the time

  • One of my all time favorites...I sing this also. I always like to understand all aspects of the songs that I sing to Him..especially the part about the coal and the lips...so I did some research. Check out Isaiah Ch. 6 and it will bring a whole new dimension to this song for you. This is where Isaiah has a vision of the Lord and is called to be a prophet. "I saw a vision of the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of his robe filled the temple..."(keep reading..awesome)

  • i really like your voice, especially the softness/whispery-ness of the low notes, and the pureness of the upper notes. awesome job!

  • 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

In the old testament yes we couldn't but thank God through the blood of Jesus we may enter into the Holy of Holies. =)

  • Amen. :)

  • If we were to see God face to face, we would instantly die. Exo 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

  • You're right, but I do believe the lyrics are actually referring to one's longing to be closer to God (in relationship, in spirit, in love, in purpose, etc), not necessarily a literal face-to-face meeting.
