Unfortunatly it does to everyone I know. And also alot of people have said that Lilith and Abel's relationship was a mother-son type thing but it proves that wrong in the 6th Manga...

THATS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW!!! Yes I agree with the fact that she took care of Abel, Cain, and Seth but one of the reasons Cain killed Lilith was because Abel loved her...

I think because when they show her in the anime the age difference is so obvious at the time. But they looked like teenagers and teens aren't usually mother figures to younger teen boys. I agree with that along with her getting in the way of his plans for destruction.

That is generally what happens in anime and Manga. When the Manga and anime show the flashbacks as they were as teens they were actualy the same age bu the anime makes them look so much smaller.

Is that so? I could have sworn Lilith was about three-four years older than Abel and Cain being the prototype. I'll agree about them playing on the sizes. Kiyo can be nearly as bad as the anime when it comes to downplaying ages.

Lilith's called Abel's LOVER, flat out said, in the novels. She's also referred as his beloved SOULMATE in the notes.

Now... Abel does harbor non platonic feelings for Esther (I'll say mostly unrequited, novel wise) because of her strong resemblance to Lilith, including her haircolor.

I really wish they kept her alive in the manga and anime...

@Crusnik2131 Not really... Specially not in the novels, where he thought Esther was a hot woman since they met (and she acts more mature than he'll ever be) and couldn't stop staring at her. Maybe a bit in the Anime, and sometimes in the manga (although there was that filler chapter with their almost kiss scene), but in the novel? Hardly the case. Now novel Esther is a mature, beautiful and strong woman. But I don't think she has feelings for Abel in the least.

@thethessaliah hmmm interesting I havent finished the novels yet im so sad... You have a point its kinda funny cause the roles of the two change Esther is in love with Abel in the anime and Abel is in love with Esther in the books....
