yes its all fusion. You have primitive 3D models but you can then use the 3D modifiers to get what you want (obviously up to a certain extent.

The water that comes out of the cup is real but the surface of the sea is done in Fusion. For complex 3D fluids you would use 3D software or specialized packages like RealFlow.

this is great man. I'd love the opportunity to learn Fusion. I do all of my work with Adobe After Effects. I think most of what you did here could be accomplished in After Effects except some of those 3D things you did like the water. Even that I think I could figure out though. How do you like Fusion?

I first started with After Effects and i though it was great. Passing to Fusion was tricky at first. but when you start understanding the potential of the nodal workflow it becomes a different story.

Nuke is great and its basically like Fusion, just with a different face and more maths so you sould definitely look into it

I've played with Shake a bit but I found it hard to enjoy because I felt like I was starting all over again with doing a simple effect that would take a few seconds to do for me in AE. But alas if I want to get the bigger better projects I think I'll have to start with Nuke.

What is the best way to learn Fusion? I would have to either go to a school that had it or get a job somewhere that uses it right?
