Ford did a good job on the Escape. My brother drove a regular V-4 Escape and it felt like a V-6. Great peddle to engine response. Feel of the vehicle is awesome. I recommend this car to those who are looking for a real SUV.

I love that you can track its performance. The fuel economy really could save you a lot of money as the gas prices rise reaching almost 4 dollars a gallon in some areas.

The interior looks cheap and has to many plastic parts. This is why Amercan cars fail the final buy-dont buy test by most people regardless of final cost.

My folks bought the 2008 model. I get to steal it during these nasty NY winters, and I love it. Wish ford would step up the game with interior quality since the price tag is pretty steep, but that's ford for you. Love the gas mileage and we choose leather which IS a nice quality, but again, I've seen better leather in cheaper cars.

No it isn't you moron. They don't expect you to go driving all around town at 25mph. But the electric motor covers waiting at lights, and downtown driving and other small stuff that saves a LOT of gas.
