If you buy this from the Xbox Marketplace (you need live for this) then you need GTAIV. BUT if you buy it from the store (In real life) Like Gamestop or whatever.. You can buy it and play it without GTAIV and the game comes with the lost and damnet, its called episodes of liberty city.
