It depends on your build, If you are stocky/well built... yes but you will be sore after 5mins. try things like Honda CBR600F. I had one and they are bomb proof, cheaper to insure and with a few little tweaks just as quick as the CBR600RR and really comfy. Hope this helps!

Look at the background, if it was in MPH it would be a LOT faster and the bike would cover a much greater distance. He would be in a ditch if that was not KMH as he's not very good. So don't be conned like everyone else. Sales people DO lie, those ones did it too...!

its MPH a GSXR 1000 does not do 160KPH pinned in 4th it does almost that in 1st.
Why would everyone else be traveling at 60 ish KPH when the speed limit of this road is 60MPH (now 50MPH) and 5 mins to Banbury is fast as hell.

@cod4madass Maybe so, but your speed was in MPH, their speed is in KMH... it's a bit obvious if you calculate the distances and the speed of other cars. It was designed to shock so it would sell. Look at the background, if it was in MPH it would be a LOT faster and the bike would cover a much greater distance. He would be in a ditch if that was not KMH as he's not very good. So don't be conned like everyone else. Sales people DO lie, those ones did it too...!

I dont see why people think hes a ghostrider wannabe. When have you ever seen ghostrider hammering down counrty lanes and 160mph+. @Wray94 Dunno what happened there but was agreeing. People who don't ride these type of bikes should be reassured that the bike was actually going that speed as the rev counter is reading dead right for the speeds. A mate of mine has a K2 Gixxer thou with 165 at the back wheel.
