If the numbere is then that would be ok. Still annoying though. MAV Roadkilling is just stupid and kills immersion.

And the Mortar isn't that bad. If someones using it, they're not helping push to the objective, or support their team with meds/ammo/repairs/revives. It takes at least two hits to kill with it so just dont stay still or have someone counter mortar.

I use it mainly when my team is spawn trapped, the enemy is camping, or when I'm tired at the end of a long session.

Or you can just slap a shotgun or smg like the P90 on it and rush. In theory, P90 + Squad Sprint + spawn beacon + T-UGS should be an effective Objective Rusher.

Use Sprint to surprise the enemy with a rapid attack. Use Radio Beacon to maintain the offensive. Grab the objective and bunker down to defend, using the T-UGS to give advance warning of enemy counterattacks.

MAV dogtag which tells "MAV kills" doesn't mean you road killed hundreds of people. It counts kill assists while enemies were spotted by your MAV.

I have over 3500 roadkills with the MAV and know how to fly it into out of bounds territory for as long as necessary. Add me on PSN as the_hevquip if any of you want to. Not only is the MAV a great distraction (preventing enemies from laying down suppressive fire and you wouldn't believe how many times someone tries to shoot my MAV down while a teammate sneaks up behind and knifes them), but I use it to spot for my mortar buddy and kill like 25 people a MATCH with the MAV, quite handy.

i learnt alot from this video, however I do have a series of pernickety questions that I am yet to see addressed by anyone on youchoob, all relate to the influence the MAV exerts over the minimap Do enemies spotted by the MAV pop up as triangle on the mini map? if so, for how long do they appear on the map? Does the proximity of the enemy to the MAV alter how that enemy soldier is spotted? i.e. enemies close to MAV appear on minimap, enemies far away do not appear on minimap.

I managed to get 8 roadkills with this, aswell as spotting nearly every single enemy countless times. You can also spot an enemy, then hover around them as a distraction whilst a member of your team kills them.

@aznsushi41 To destroy equipment you have to get close to it I think and then press R1 and it'll blow up.. It's also used to evade missiles that are locked onto your MAV.

Very nice review.I ve a question though.I ve just unlocked that gadget and i can't fly it properly.Although i manage to throttle it up using SPACE, i dont have a key bindning for throttle down.I know it was supposed to be Left Ctrl but all i see in the lower right control box is an empty button.So can you tell me which key binding is the appropriate to mess with?I have Left Ctrl for crouch(hold) and that probably deleted the binding for that gadget.

@pokealong1227 I usually i run assault and then i'll run into a tank and switch to engineer. the guns are about the same damage (well i find them to be), i do enjoy laying down covering fire ect with the support. but i dont use the class very often. i find recon not effective except if i am on a find hill a million miles away, or i take off the scope..or use pp2000. yes all that classes are used but the super rapid repair and cool down, anti-tank, good damage, run and gunner is ..effective

@un7ucky One class being effective does not mean other classes are ineffective. Assault is needed to manage ticket counts on rush, support is needed so nobody runs out of ammo and so there is suppressive fire at all times, recon is needed as eyes of the battlefield(spotting and communication for example). All classes still play a very important role in the game there are just a lot of kids coming from other games that refuse to use them right, so it seems like they have no role anymore.

@un7ucky actually i've played defending rush with OVER half of the team snipers. We did just fine and won. If 3/4 of the team is engineers, 3/4 of the team must have never played battlefield before. And if you are just run and gunning and only looking to kill and take guns, go back to cod.

I figured the range it spots enemies is when they're close to your teammates?

I found that the further I spot them away from the team, the less they appear on the radar.
