No, it isn't a remake and The Cut came out in 2007. Unrest came out in 2005. It's impossible for The Cut to be the "original".

They made a mistake w/ the movie they put the Atzec in Brazil where they should have been in Mexico. And they bodies were really real. They weren't the first movies to use real corpses that was Poltergist w/ skeletons.

Apparently there were real dead bodies, but I'm thinking there was maybe a flash of a real cadaver for a brief second somewhere in the beginning so that they can make the claim. Clever horror film idea, though. When I die, I would totally not mind if they used my body in a horror flick--I think it would be awesome! ("Righteous bucks!")

i think its really cliche when horror movies always do the loud, out of no where pop up in your face. its thrilling but only that is what makes the movie scary or thrilling. i believe horror movies should be straight out twisted and fucked up to really be a horror movie and not a thriller. haven't seen any of the 8 films to die for, but i'm hoping its what i'm looking for =/

Unfortunately I've seen all 8 of them. None of them are not that bloody nor scary at all. Maybe "The Abandoned" creped me out a little bit. "Dark Ride" was a little bit gory in that campy kinda way.

I suggest you check out "The Abandoned". That one has a similar concept as the, "The Grudge",except without the creepy little girl in it. (i.e. they go into the house and the time goes backwards, and they're taken back to the past, which is exactly the same horrible things start happening all over again.)

Don't even bother with Gravedancers. Slow at the beginning. ONE creepy scene. The last 20 minutes or so are unintentionally funny. I mean, cheesy. A possessed woman flying across the room with an axe?!(LOL)And a huge CGI cartoony-hand and head towards the end of the movie!UGH!

this movie was good, not scary, its kinda disgusting since alot of the sick things can happen in real life, like all the anatomy stuff and ect. the story is good at best, and probably one the the three films with the highest budget, but with horrorfest thats not saying much.
