I bought this toy for nostalgia and because I LOVE the SR-71 Blackbird. I have only ever made it HALF the way this entire year I have had it. I am glad I am not the Only one who has trouble with this thing - they should create a classification of Beyond Expert for the transforming ease of this thing!

I'm glad I finally thought to look on YouTube to see if somebody posted a Video of how to transform him! Thank you CollectionDX for having done so! (Glad I am not the only one who has trouble!)

You say you like Optibotimus for his brevity. Well, I disagree. Your Jetfire review was infinitely more useful to me than anything Optibotimus has ever done, simply because yours went into detail with the horrible problems with Jetfire that no one else ever talks about.

The problem, though, is in getting to all those details is my vids run very long, and I know a lot of people don't like that.

But I figure that, as long as I'm not droning on *too* long and can keep your attention (and maybe even make you LoL a little), then it's okay to run on a little.

Some, like me, want to hear those details, and see what goes wrong, others like a quick summary.

While I can kind of understand that on the cheaper toys, $40-$60 is a big investment and I'd MUCH rather get an accurate idea of what the toy's like than have it "sold" to me with a short review.

If you had DRONED on by pointing out mundane details, it wouldn't have been useful (for example, pointing out the color scheme). But the long segments weren't because you were padding the review, you just had a lot to say and the toy was displaying its bad side.

I do that there because it gives me more time to speak, rather than having many minutes of silence followed by long minutes at the end of nothing happening but me talking.

Well, it's not silence that I'm looking for, it's honesty, which you delivered. If you have something you feel needs to be said about the toy and transformation, by all means, say it.

Some reviewers tend to justify their purchases in their reviews, especially the ones that get the toys before everyone else. I haven't really seen you do that yet, which is refreshing and puts your opinion over some of the other reviewers I watch.

I like to cheat transforming this guy by popping off the very back tail panel (since it is Prime's gun) and attached it to the main fuselage attach the side jets and then get the legs sorted underneath; finally moving the back section up and reattach it plus the feet. Makes the hole process much simpler to align.

I try to figure any child who can play with this thing...but...my god..

I figure the poor child taht try to ply with Jetfire but is impossible so he gave up or worst, show some rightful complain. And his parents get angry with him, because they pay a lot of money for Jetfire and think that their son is a ungrateful brat, when the real and only fault is this horrible junkpile of toy. (excuse the bad english)

Nope, you're absolutely right!

When in the toy aisle, I see a parent wondering what to get, and I always advise them about things like that, and give them my recommendation on which toy works depending on which character they want to buy. I always tell them, 'Go to CollectionDX com and read our honest & impartial reviews!', and they usually thank me for my gracious help in sorting through the confusing mass of toys. (Whether they actually go there or not, I'll never know...)
