I dedicated thhis version of this song to my best friend Johnny who passed away 2 months ago today.

I LOVE this song. But this particular version of it, with the absolutely beautiful harmonies, is just perfect. Clare Bowditch & Bernard Fanning should do more stuff together. As much as I dislike most of Kasey Chambers music(dont like country), she sounds beautiful in this, & completes the harmony.

I came across Bernard Fanning by chance looking for songs that I could play and sing. He is not main stream in the UK but he ought to be! I think that this performance is a terrific version, particularly with the contrasting voices and the violin! One of the most moving things I have seen on utube! I see from his website that he was recording in the UK recently. I hope he comes back and tours! (With the girls!!)

I think that is the ARIAs performance that I've most enjoyed. Great song, with sublime 3 part harmony in that version! It's way harder to do than it looks, and Bernard, Clare and Kasey do a brilliant job. MacTruman is so right, performances like this are little pleasures that make life worth living!
