So you would need to join the U.S. Army and go right into this job or during service before this. I really want to do this it would be an amazing job but I want to go in as an 11 Bravo so hopefully I can train to do this. God Bless our Troops!
@USAGamingMW2 They are 11B. Most are new to the Army (privates and specialists), but there are a few that able to get into Caisson later as SGTs/SSGs.
I must say that caisson section is one of the biggest challenges that I have faced in my military career. What an honorable assignment. This is not the only caisson section left, there is another in fort Sam Houston, TX. We are not nearly as large though; only a dozen horses.
