I ran into Martha at a Boarders, about 2 years ago, and talked to this guy who turned out to be her manager. I mentioned this song, and I think he thought I was hitting on him! But he said Detroit was dead for entertainers, and didn't have enough venues. I told him, he was dead wrong, and a new Motown could make it here, again.
