Bray is more mobile. just look at his videos from his profile. He can move in the pocket and is more aware of whats going on. and he stays cool under pressure. he can move like tim tebow too. just lok at his profile videos and you will see how he can move.

@TBuck3333 Actually, he can. If you look at his profile on Scout.com and watch the videos you will see. they had his videos up of him playing and he scrambled a lot. and could do it well. Yes timmy is good, but he aint the only one.

Regardless of the QB situation, which I think Bray looked better in this game, but with Jackson and Reveiz hunting heads on D, and ofcourse Moore, Jones on offense, but how about Tauren Poole, that guy tore it up in this game...I personally thought he looked consistent on offense last season...he has a lot of determination and quick feet...They all looked good overall though, excited to see how they do this season! Go vols!

You all need to remember that just because Bray looked better in the orange and white game doesn't mean he's the best QB. I'm not saying he isn't, but we( the fans) have only seen the Orange and White game. The coaches have seen Simms and Bray for 15 more practices. Let them decide who the best guy for the job is.. don't base your opinion off one spring game. Having said that, Bray was very impressive.

It is way too early, but I believe Simms will be the starter for only one reason-- he is more mobile in the pocket than Bray right now. Tennessee will need a mobile quarterback, someone that can move the pocket around and throw on the run due to the weak offensive line. I won't be surprised if Tennessee runs a 5-man O-line for a majority of plays-- similiar to what the Ravens run. But a lot can happen between now and then. Go Vols!!!

@supersayin1 All Bray had was Danarius "Holy Hands" Moore and fellow early enrollee Matt Milton. Simms had Gerald Jones, a proven SEC WR, and Marsalis Teague, who will be a sophomore this year. I think Bray is the better QB. Just look at his quick release and pocket presence. Both QB's are still eying down their receivers every now and then (mainly Simms) but that will come with experience.

Well UT looks better than they did (at least offensively) than they did last year under big city coach lane kiffin, even with losing berry, dan williams, and brice brown.

Unless UT fixes the O-line problems and kicking game (punts/kick offs), it will be a long season. Nearly every time the defense was in the 5-2, the offense ran the ball down their throat. Hardly anyone on defense wraps the ball carrier up.  Not all is lost, could be a decent season for Vols, but they aren't there yet.

@supersayin1 maybe but, Simms threw 3 picks to Bray's 0. They both threw a TD. Plus, I think Bray has better pocket presence. He can move for someone who's 6'6.
