  • 18 people dnt like trick or treating

  • a hip hop classic...

  • This song is a first in hiphop: the mc's, fictionally, are talking about their, gasp, vulnerabilities! That their gangster lifestyle is catching up to them.

  • this song is the shit.... it goes way way back.

  • 17 people minds are playing tricks on em.

  • this song is about the inner conflict. Just so awesome!

  • wtf happened to our culture nowadays :/

  • @Henryvdv 50 cent.

  • ROBBIN LITTLE KIDS FA BAGS...

  • Without a doubt, the greatest rap video ever made. Scarface is the greatest rapper who ever lived.

  • thumbs up if you saw this on "Yo MTV Raps" !

  • Gotta put my face on this !

  • I came here from Yahoo news after seeing "Yo! MTV Raps" is celebrating it's 20th anniversary and it mentioned 3 specific influential rap songs: "Scenario" by A Tribe Called Quest, "Today Was A Good Day" by Ice Cube, and this song. I used to rock out to the other two back in the day, but I never heard this one.

  • ITS THAT FUCKEN KUSH SMOKE..FROM LOS ANGELES..TOOO FUCKEN O.G..

  • its fucked up when your mind is playing tricks on ya

  • "Three black, crippled and crazy senior citizens" damn they shouldnt be drivin...

  • This is a true masterpiece, classic comes after second

  • I need to know an "African-American" "Little Person."

  • the only rap video to eva scare the sh!t outta me!!!

  • hip hop real

  • this has allways been pimpshit . even this white boy here knows his shit. fuck off haters

  • Kids these days won't like this because its not the candy painted, sugar coated music they overindulge themselves in on the radio.

  • ah yea finally i found 'music'

  • "It's somebody watching me, ack"

  • this isn't rap music, this is awesome music.

  • WAY BACK WAY BACK,OG

  • i take my boys everywhere i go, because i'm paranoid

  • I grew up on this shit. Check out bushwicks album. The way he raps you know eminem used to listen to him cuz he stole half of bushwicks style. But thats only becuz he knew bill was a pimp.

  • this video can give a nigga nightmares

  • If music is good enough, it will transcend its genre. I am a diehard Metal head, I love hard rock and grunge; but the Geto Boys are one of my favorite groups ever. They knew how to tell a story, and in a genre thats pretty much synthesizers and drum machines, they were able to find a unique sound. Groups like this and NWA, and guys like Snoop, used to be right in the rotation with my Metallica, Alice in Chains, and GnR records at parites. Nowadays it's all just studio gangstas and cake boys.

  • @Black14th Much respect for your taste. You know what good rap music is. I think metal heads should be able to love Geto Boys, their music is dark much like a lot of metal and they are master storytellers, something nobody can really hate on!

Have never heard a non-hip hop fan who has heard them and not liked them.

  • The original hip hop kings of the dirty south hands down... If these guys hadn't put it down in the midst of the whole east and west era, the dirty south wouldn't be where it is now.

  • probably the best hiphop video ever..

  • Awe ...........EMT saved the little midget.

  • What song did they sample??

  • Issac Hayes - Hung Up On My Baby

u wanna sample it? lol if yes ik how u feel dis track is fuckin beautiful.

  • this is from H-town, not seattle

  • I love this song because it's hard, but it's deep too. Plus I like my dogs reppin H town for me.

  • Scarface version is so much better!!!

  • @KrisAnne05 I disagree, that one is slightly funkier and a bit more upbeat and of course a classic too, but Scarface sounds like he's freestyling his verses. Not a bad thing, but the results are way better if you take your time with the record like this song right here. With that said I love how Face's version is profane free. (not that it bothers me or anything)

Have you heard Willie D's solo version? It's dope too.

  • Yeah man me too, This is one of the all time best raps ever!!! respect

  • That beat is nice. Lyrics fit well also

  • Rap was better when they told stories and the videos helped put the words in visual context. Not one video hoe in this vid. love it

  • When i was little my parents explained what this video meant! Ahhh The Good Old Days. This Was & Still IS the Jam!

  • i've been dreaming about Kanye samplin this track and making a MEAN ASS track out of it

  • Damn... dope shit.

  • Hip Hop will revive if all the faggots that are now in it are put on a hitlist. I'm just sayin'

  • @xXBlackxRebelXx

evrything is bout respect homeboy :)

For us, geto boys will be best ever .. ;)

  • @xXBlackxRebelXx

    fck faggots btw xD

  • i wanna go trick or treating with the geto boys

  • yo bushwick bill on the stretcher swag

  • i always come back to this video. the video, the song, the words, the story...all pretty fucking close to being absolutely perfect.

  • @MrThickwilly This isn't good rap.

Good rap is lil wayne and soulja boy. Only real artists that make good rap music.

  • @stalinisnumber1 you are the first person who I have seen, that likes lil wayne , thanks to lil wayne, rap is turning to crap

  • @adam2000888 nice english, you totally make a lot of sense, using the comma like that, good job, genious, thanks to you, you make our, country look, bad.

  • @stalinisnumber1 Ok. what I ment to say was: "You are the first person who I have seen that likes lil wayne. Thanks to lil wayne rap is turning to crap." I apologise for my grammar cos I was tired at that time.BTW you don't even know which country I'm from, so you can't really say that I'm making YOUR country look bad.

  • @stalinisnumber1 It's spelt 'genius' not 'genious'! You've gone and made yourself look a bit silly now haven't you?!

  • lmao @ 3:54 he had to jump to punch the dude in the mouth XD

  • Isaac Hayes - Hung Up on My Baby

  • this videos DEEP

  • @2:34 "REMEMBER THEM THAT ARE IN PRISON AS BOUND WITH THEM"

  • I agree with zero, old school shit was real. Now its all about money and materialism

  • so basically they explaining how life is in the dope game and their paranoid or they just tweaking off some cocaine..?

  • 20 years later i still remember every word to this song

  • Texas Monthly magazine rated this the second greatest Texas song.

  • Oldschool rap is like contemporary epics, songs about the life and death of notable people.

  • why do people dislike this?

    if i don't like it i don't watch is

  • this dude name Lil Troy found scarface in the 80's and produced his first single...alot of ppl dont know that

  • notice no chorus this shit is so cold that none is needed...ya mind playing tricks on ya! I love the Ghetto Boys real music real shit!

  • STILL CLASSIC OLD SKOOL JOINT

    STEAZA ANORAC BENZIN CBF CREW

  • a timeless golden hip hop track!!

  • Anyone who thinks these ghetto clowns have any lyrical flow.. I'm sorry you're dumb.

No one will argue that this BEAT is awesome. The rappers and the lyrics? Hhahaha worst shit I ever heard. Don't piss your panties ladies, I'll agree with you that the beat is good.

  • @DDeCouto GETO BOYS and KOOL G, fathers of true gangsta rap. Steps ahead of todays fake shit, but yo whats with da "nerdy ass white kid" comment. Chumps is chumps, black-white-whatever. All you got to say is "bassheadsproductions" is a sucka, pure and simple. peace

  • Comment removed

  • @DDeCouto i have to admit he dont know real rap bu im white and l love rap music classic of coure you dont have to be white to like rap

  • Comment removed

  • @DDeCouto thats true

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @DDeCouto you started talking shit about white people for no reason. And you're stupid. Let me correct your comment so it's grammatically correct, college boy. "Yours is somewhere IN the 85-95 range. By the way, if YOU'RE a legitimate racist, what are you doing watching this video"?

That's how to spell properly, boy. And I'm not remotely racist. Just tossing racist jokes at you since you think you can talk shit about "nerdy white people".

  • @DDeCouto you white I guess? anyways like i said, theres plenty of brothers who are chumps as well. 90% of wack mc's nowadays are black, the mainstream shit. color dont mean shit when it comes to this. but youre right, hes a dumbass that couldnt tell real hip hop if it cracked him in the head.

  • Comment removed

  • @DDeCouto of course, same way whites know more about hockey and death metal than blacks. it dont mean that an ignorant comment about either automatically means it was a black person who said it. thats how you were rolling with your comment brother. It was an ignorant and racist thing. It had nothing to do with demographics.

  • @BassHeadsProduction hahaha, and YOU know lyrical flow? please sucka

  • I broke my mirror with my left hand

    I got scared and ran.

    I thought i had pee

My mind is playin tricks on me

  • 1:32

  • this my favorite joint

  • this my joint

  • im diggin this shit!

  • Thought he had cane but it was Gold Medal flour!

  • Geto Boys are the best, fuck "rap" these days. Fuck anyone who says different.

  • theres 11 people who dislike this and a million faggots who should stop stating it in comments, WE FUCKING GET IT, WE CAN READ, WE DON'T NEED YOU TO TELL US, holy fuck.. just listen to the music you little squids

  • 11 haters minds play tricks on them.

  • Sleeping while im trippin off sherm

waking up to a pile of sperm

My Dick is playing tricks on me!!!!!

  • People are silly, this is old school rap. If you know anything about old school rap you know it's about telling a story and not 1 liners that mean nothing in context. Rap these days is garbage because it's all like pop music these days. Now their is no story other than some shitty love story you've heard 100 times over.

  • @Zero2k0 U RIGHT HOMIE

  • @Zero2k0 The Art 0f Story te;;ing is what Rap really is but any way to make any edgeway in tnhe cookie cutter industry you need to be a hit on the RINGTONES,. . So which means youi need to "Walk it out" ," Shoulder lean Wit it." pop lock and dropit ," walk it out ,"and two step it." and No look clap" exsedra and so on

  • @Zero2k0 Ya its the art of story telling. . The still do it but on the LP's . . to be a hit now you have to do the ringtone hit... and" shoulder lean Wit it , poplock and drop it Now walk it out and two sep it no look clapp"

  • @Zero2k0 Well said, indeed.

  • @Zero2k0 oh my god thank you. im sick of people thinking retarded analogies drake and weezy come up with are the shit. and then when they see real rap with a point or a message they act like it sucks

  • @Zero2k0 i agree with ur coment on the ghetto boys video

  • @Zero2k0 cash money , cars , bitches , homies - lil wayne's junk "music "

  • @Zero2k0 i wish i was old enough in the 90's to enjoy them

  • @Zero2k0 You're absolutely right, old school rap was about expressing stories, whether the story was true or fiction. Nowaday's rap has many songs I wouldn't pay a nickle for on iTunes, but their are still some good songs to be had from them.

  • the best man true rap not talking about cars money girls justngiving a story

  • MUSIC

  • up isaac hayes the black moses

  • Y'know, if he didn't smoke so much sherm his mind probably wouldn't be playing tricks on him. Just sayin'.

  • It's So True.

  • dont be hate n, honky, your jus' mad you didnt write that muthaf**kin pimp ass shit!!

  • This is TRUE Rap, FUCK Soulja Boy & all that new Shit!...A bunch of talentless waste of skin. Proud to be ignorant and illiterate. Knowledge is power, why would you be proud to be uneducated? Since so many niggas cant pronounce words correctly, they had to give their language a new name, "ebonics"!Why spread your ignorance to the youth? Most of 'em cant even spell 4 letter words right. Thats why our government is able to keep giving them the short end of the stick, cause they want to be stupid

  • Comment removed

  • If you dislike this, your mind is playin tricks.

  • life sucks then you die..

  • this honest bangin dope shit, influenced a WHOLE heap ah muthafuckas!!! bless.

  • wow, timeless...

  • I SIT ALONE IN MY 4 CORNER ROOM STARIN AT CANDLES!

  • just about the time crack hit the streets, dope song, after all these years its still like the first time i heard it \m/

  • Damnnn this shit almost makes me wanna shed a tear

  • @psikopat57 huh?

  • Ever heard 2 short that is no skill in the lyrical at all dick fuck suchk at least these fools could allways rime

  • @BassHeadsProduction

im sure u coulda done better

  • @xg1optimusprimex no I couldn't have made a better beat. Like I said. It's an epic fucking beat. But I could most definitely have come up with better lyrics. And someone with a speech impediment could spit better than these guys.

  • @BassHeadsProduction Worse lyrics you've ever heard?

You never heard of Lil Wayne or Drake?

  • @BassHeadsProduction haha you obviously cant relate son...

  • @BassHeadsProduction Did you listen to the same song I did? Cause these lyrics are Motha Fuckin DOPE! They where relevent back in the day when this single first droped & its still just as powerfull today. What do you want them to talk about, exspensive cars, hoes (hot ones, not the hoes you would know), jewelry, or maybe your "Dougie"? The lyrics speak for themselves & hold their own. Its from '91 & people are still looking for it on Youtube & jamming it in their cars or on their iPad.

  • @BassHeadsProduction you talk about them as if they're unknown or something haha

  • @BassHeadsProduction These guys might not be Big L or Bug Pun but these lyrics are better than 95% of the shit on the radio these days. Nicki Manaj's new song goes, I just did it on em, I just did on em, man I just did it on em. LMAO these lyrics aren't meant to impress there meant to send a message. And your mad retarded for qouting that line becuase big money and big cars obviously aren't the focus of the song.

  • @DDeCouto ANd you're fucking retarded, I quoted that one terrible line about the "driving big cars" because you fucking said, "What do you want them to talk about, exspensive cars, hoes?"

ROFL and they do talk about that. AHahahhaha so, you're retarded sorry.

  • @GENERALJOHNNYREBEL i totally agree bro

  • @GENERALJOHNNYREBEL Why do keep posting shit if it is the worst hting you heard?

  • god damn maybe they were cops and now they are staking out my house. is my car bugged with a gps. do they have a remote camera installed across the street? are they going through my garbage....

fucking god damn cops always gotta make my mind play tricks on me..

  • smoked a ton of hash before doing a parking lot move one time. real sketchy, kept having paranoid delusions that someone was wearing a wire or maybe they thought was wearing a wire...afterwards driving back with girls and this song played on the satelitte radio. was high as hell and thinking every chevy tahoe or impala was a cop, god damn. my mind was playing tricks on me....

  • Talk about being late to the party ... didn't hear this song till late last year, but it just blew me away, one of my absolute favorites now.

  • 11 disliker's minds are playing tricks on em.

  • Dis is some deep shit

  • To much blow my nugga lol, real music right here, this shit will never die

  • I'm glad the street price of Gold Medal flour came down in the late 90s.

  • BRING BACK REAL HIP HOP

  • I remember hearing this song back in 04' when I was parked up in Camden, NJ - Northagate parking lot bout to get high lol, I was in ma new whip, had like 100 miles on the mothafuck

  • i wish rap was the same, where they take a nice sample and make it into a beat, and take the time to make sense with what they are saying

  • Greatness! True Hip Hop!

  • i feel so blessed that we had music like this,

sadly hip hop can never compare to these days,

thumbs up for 90's hip hop (Y)

  • The 'woman on the corner' looks like Raven Symone!

  • Oh yeah that Isaac Hayes hung up on my baby sample is just terrific!

  • R.I.P. Rap Music... Just aint been the same since like 02' really want to say 98'

  • This track explains why you shouldnt do drugs.

  • hip hop classic

  • People tend to talk about Scarface when they talk about The Geto Boys, but the fact is that this was their best track and Bushwick Bill delivered the best verses.

  • One of the best hip-hop tracks ever produced.

  • 11 FUCKING IDIOTS

  • @steelcurtin72

    12* fuckin pussies now

  • back in the day when people could relate to rap
