For me Star Trek died after Nemesis. The reboot was garbage and made no sense to the series. If it's not canon i refuse to watch it. Besides Doctor Who is waaaaaaaaay better!

I haven't been into American comics and ever since the announcement for "The New 52" I decided to get a couple of them, just because. Currently I'm addicted to American comics, more-so than Japanese, and have become an avid fan of Batman. :P

I see a lot of people in the comic book shop ever since the DC "New 52" thing... though I wouldn't really know if that was always the case as, mentioned above, I am new to comics. :P

J.J. Abrams brought Star Trek to a whole new level with attaching character developement and wondrous visuals. Abrams used his own techniques of storytelling along with many of the elements of the classic Star Wars ( which was an ironic slap in the face to any hard core Trekie) to create not just a chilling sci-fi movie, but a film masterpiece.

@ThatMovieGuy77 So true. I'm all for Star Peace...but I do have a SW tattoo..even I had to chuckle to myself when Abrams mentioned how he took elements from Star Wars to make this movie work. But that aside. He did a great job, and I'm proud to say I own the blu ray.
