For a second I saw a glance of the old Cane. When he was talking to Lily at CL and their music was playing- It was a really great scene. He was upset because he still loves her. There was more emotion in Cane in that scene than all his scenes put together with Cho hoe. I was really excited. I have been living off the Lilliam scenes, but it looks like the death of Ethan is the resurrection of Lane.

She should have said, we can work it out, you don't have to marry the tramp. She didn't.
Well we know Billy's true love is himself, since he has done everything for his own interest and not Lily's. It's sad when even Chloe doesn't want him for her child's father. Love me some Billy Miller, just don't like Billy Abbott with Lily. I am curious to see what will happen with the Billy/Sharon/Jack spumor.
i know a lot people are happy to hear the lane theme but i don't know... it kinda felt off to me. you know how music can help make a scene, right? well hearing lane's song and having them talk so much about billy kinda threw me off. lane's theme is ALL about lane. come on, the main lyric is "all i think about is you." they're trying to rush lane's reunion, (ABOUT TIME!) and flubbing really great scenes (thanks to ck's and dg's delivery) in the process.
ITA chassygirl77...it was a bit off...they need to stop doing this rush job...I know they're trying to fix what they messed up quickly, but rushing is not the way to do it..loved the argument b/w Lane...that was organic and natural...made perfect sense and played well...props to CK & DG and I will give the writers credit for finally writing some decent material

ohhh I forgot to say how much I enjoyed the lane scene one of their best in a long time. I finally saw the passion laid out for everyone to see. Like that he could finally get angry with her and she with him. They needed to get real about this thing a while ago. He finally got bold enough to raise his voice in anger. Thats what I wanted for Cane to show some emotion some real emotion.

It was hard to watch, but I thought it was realistic. He is forcing himself to try and he just can't do it because of his feelings for Lily. DG is doing great with his scenes.

It reminds of the scene when Lily and Cane got in a confrontation about Amber. It was right after the extreme catwalk episode. Amber lied about being at work and Lily cold busted her to Cane. I saw some sparks even then. The scene was hawt!

Yes, let's not forget Cane tried to warn Lily early on and she was naive about it. She forced him to be nice to her. Even Devon to be nice to the troll. Then she reminds Cane over and over how horrible it would be for him not to marry Chloe and be with his child. Yes, he made the final choice, but Lily encouraged it. She should have said, we can work it out, you don't have to marry the tramp. She didn't.

Well we know Billy's true love is himself, since he has done everything for his own interest and not Lily's. It's sad when even Chloe doesn't want him for her child's father. Love me some Billy Miller, just don't like Billy Abbott with Lily. I am curious to see what will happen with the Billy/Sharon/Jack spumor.

i know a lot people are happy to hear the lane theme but i don't know... it kinda felt off to me. you know how music can help make a scene, right? well hearing lane's song and having them talk so much about billy kinda threw me off. lane's theme is ALL about lane. come on, the main lyric is "all i think about is you." they're trying to rush lane's reunion, (ABOUT TIME!) and flubbing really great scenes (thanks to ck's and dg's delivery) in the process.

ITA chassygirl77...it was a bit off...they need to stop doing this rush job...I know they're trying to fix what they messed up quickly, but rushing is not the way to do it..loved the argument b/w Lane...that was organic and natural...made perfect sense and played well...props to CK & DG and I will give the writers credit for finally writing some decent material

Ok, just had to say one last thing about the music: the music they played at the end of Lane's scene from about 4:00-4:15 (from the divorce party) made sense though...it's upbeat and still reminiscent of Lane...they need to save the other one for a real poignant moment b/w the two...otherwise it becomes cliche' and takes away from the significance...ok, i'm done : )
