  • thumb up if you wanna see it launch potato or anything like that

  • Reed valves like two stroke engine.

  • Gave a satisfying amount of detail.

  • Creepers voice

  • @BeckTechnologies

    Cricket mean good nature condition.

Here we don't have any, you better listen to them while they still there.

  • Any higher temp resistant valve options?

As you say it's a very old engine and technology has advanced considerably.

Nice (ish, the crickets can't be helped though so not your fault) video :)

  • Why are people moaning about the guy talking. Are they here to learn or for entertainment??? Nicely made engine i think.

  • dont rev for moar than 30 secs? a typical valve only lasts 30 min under good cond. sounds like shotty engineering to me.

  • @18muffinMan when its not moving through the air, its not getting any cooling, and parts can melt.

  • @BeckTechnologies seriously, you need to beef up your insides and it will be worth the decrease in your thrust to weight ratio. Build to last and your partners and customers will thank you

  • @18muffinMan First of all these engines were made back in the 50's... There's no point in doing that, when you'd have the same performance from a valveless engine with no parts to wear out. A 3 minute flight with one of these engines feels like an eternity, and most would rather have a lighter faster engine.

  • @18muffinMan Go run a turbocharged small block V8 for more than 30 seconds at full throttle without a radiator, see what happens.

  • The crickets and is voice made me nap threw the hole video did I mis anything???

  • hmm the fins are a heat sink just make your own pulse jet

  • something that gets red hot like that isnt very practice

  • fins are a heat sink...the whole motor needs one!!

  • fins keep it cool!!

  • zer good ya,ya!

  • Thanks, I was wondering how a pulse jet works, but that mosquito buzzing around made me really itchy!!!

    Haha Thanks again.

  • kill that fly

  • @uncidan I think it was a Mozzie!!!!!!

  • If you want to just see it start and make noise, skip to 7:30. But, great explanation.

  • Awesome video thank you sir!!

just got me one of these to fix for a friend. its an intercontinental venture sort of thing. can't wait to fix it and kick in the gut!

  • это трансфункционер континума?

  • нихуя не всосал!

  • I am making a vtol with the pulsejet, I have four pulse jets with 50lb thrust each and I mount it on a square platform, then I can use a computer, and create a virtual grid and have the machine know how hight it is I can then make it so that if the jet reaches a mac alt it will stop fuel and then it will fall down to earth and then inject fuel when it is insde the ~alt so now each jet can level it self at a certain alt, and thus hover! but too much weight :(

  • Thats a cool pulse jet!! The setup is like the V1 but much smaller and the sound it makes is like the high-pitched whine of a honeybee or a swarm of honeybees. Cool vid and GREAT narration. You need to make you a gokart powered by a Lockwood pulse jet. Check out my channel and see my Tin Can pulse jet.

  • are you telling me you caused crickets to be so dam loud rage!!!!

  • Wow. Now we nneed to Contact the Aliens to figure out the rest.

  • did you know Dyna jet holds the wrolds speed record at over 400 MPH for model air craft

  • That echo at the enda is just sooo eargasmic, i'll try to copy that sound in Fl Studio and see how it works out =P

It should be my ringtone on my cell!

  • starts 7:30

  • @Vetlul thank god i saw this comment..

  • why do i hear crickets?

  • @antizero100 before the test... nature

    after the test ... tinitus

  • just start watching at 7:30

  • This doesn't meet my public speaking standards!

  • How the hell did you make that, man that is ausome. just stick that on the end of a bike and you have bloody fast bike :P

  • come on fucking insects are louder than you

  • i would find this thing hard to have sex with

  • WITCH CRAFT!

  • Put some wings on it and you'll have a turbo dragon-fly.

  • Makes a great hair dryer.

  • @Jagcycle have fun... :D

  • this is the time to clean it with ice cold water

  • Gotta love the echo when he kills the engine

  • Nothing to apologize for - great video!!

  • When will production restart?

  • I appreciate the lesson in principal, so simple, but efficient. Weren't these the same types they used in the "buzz" bombs of WW2? V2's I think? I think yo did great, considering the mosquitoes had to be eating you up, and loved the cricket comment lol. Thanks.

  • Why are we whispering?

  • use your man voice, i cant hear you over the damn krickets.

  • @cronama Krickets dont make noise.......cause the only exist in your mind

  • Always wanted to know how they worked / were put together. Excellent vid!

  • great vid, it's a shame you're such a boring guy to listen to and if you must talk at least make sure you know what you're on about

  • the fins are for heat reduction

  • Hells Teeth that is truly AWESOME ... nice explanation of an extraordinary technology. Something so staggeringly simple can produce such power! Excellent post.

  • Please write down all your information down on note cards before hand next time...

  • the way your talking is cracking me up!

  • starts at 7:22

  • Someone get me a skateboard!!!

  • Todos conocemos desde hace mucho tiempo este pulsorreactor. ¡¡¡ INVENTE ALGO NUEVO PLIS !!!!!!

  • Were Can I get Petal Valves for this engine? Have searched with no luck. Any help will be appriciated. Thanks in advance!

  • ....if your not a crappy welder the welds shouldnt split in high heat ..the metal around the weld should break before the weld itself .

  • ta vacan el video

  • vuvuzela engine

  • thrust?

  • I wanted to ask why we don't use this kind of engines on airplanes, then I heard the noise and I understood.

  • @LupiWolfman cuz it uses more fuel then turbine engines do

  • @LupiWolfman they were used on V-1 flying bombs in WWII

  • And the crickets are all gone :)

  • It sounds like the German buzz bomb......Perfect to kill the f**king crickets.

  • @ajdeblaeij aluminum/ magnisum.other light alloy metals.

  • @ZombieBrainsForLunch FREE LUNCH PRINCIPAL DOES,NT APPLY HERE.THEY USE HEAT RESISTANT METALS LIKE TUNGSTEN,PLATINUM/TITANIUM,TO MAKE NEWER JET ENGINES LAST LONGER.THAT,S WHY THIS ENGINE ONLY LASTS A HOUR,AT BEST.

  • Whats the use of these pulsejet things can anyone help me with figuring that out?

  • @Kamkuru1 THEY WERE USED IN SOME OF THE FIRST ROCKETS / JETS,FOR PROPULLSION.

  • SHIT!

  • is at 7:41

  • i think that all night you have made it ,so you go to your bed and get a sleep then you make video. ok

  • sounds like a vuvuzela on steroids.

  • the echo after the last bit of gasoline runs through is EPIC. 8:06

  • @RichyBoyBlaze

    It truly is, WOW!

  • @RichyBoyBlaze agreed lotsdeds

  • @RichyBoyBlaze yes that echo was pretty epic

  • Comment removed

  • gas powered vuvuzela! nice

  • @shuntedbywing lmao

  • Nice!! I have a folder full of plans to build these things but somehow I never did. Maybe I should give it a go. They seem like lot's of fun.

  • why does it turn a oily color when you connect the gasoline to it?

  • you can see the speed of fuel consumption. Bloody hungry engine!

  • ...Why exactly would anyone want this?

    What good would it do?

  • @Peterbilt982476 torture some 1? like put a face against it XD

  • @Peterbilt982476 IT,S THE SAME DESIGN USED TO PROPEL R P G,s WITH A LIQUID PROPELLANT INTRODUCTION SYSTEM.. R P G,S USE A SOLID PROPELLANT.LOOK FOR THE ROUNDS FOR RECOILESS RIFLES.SAME DESIGN,SOLID PROPELLANT.

  • sounds like an abosultely apocalyptic fart when it's funning xD

  • what i can't here you mom

  • The short life of the valve doesn't matter if it will just get from Penemunde to London, right?

  • @CampKohler CAREFUL! SOMEONE MIGHT LABEL YOU A HIPPIE ANARCIST. BUT,AT LEAST YOU UNDERSTAND THE APPLICATION.

  • where can I buy this?

  • @thdmtr ONLINE. YOUTUBE SHOWED ME A PRODUCER FOR THESE ENGINES. CLICK ON THE RIGHT SCREEN LABEL,YOU,RE IN THERE.

  • Just light the fire!!!

  • Nice Trumpet.

  • This is all meant to be. I feel on with myself. Now, let's start burning!!!

  • this is all meant to be. I feel peaceful now.

  • Thank you very much for showing All the details above. Very very soon gets hot

  • Thank you very much for showing All the details above

  • Here we have Animals & Nature and a Pulsejet engine, the perfect image of Mother Earth :)

  • Anyway I've added this vid to my favorites. Even if it wasn't intentionally funny!

  • You sound like Clint Eastwood. Imagine yourself with this thing, a bigger gun than Dirty Harry!

  • You're funny. It meets my speaking standards, I've had a few glasses of red wine ;-)

  • But now you have a super cricket-deterrent and the poor sods just gave their location away!

  • start the damn thing already!!!

  • This should work well at a hospital to cauhterize deep wounds..LOL!

  • Very nice thanks!

  • thats one hell of an over view, i just wanted to see the damn thing run!!!

  • Thanks for the very detailed description of the Dynajet. I've seen them powering control line model aircraft at the BMFA Nationals in the UK..... the noise is fantastic.

  • The neighbors are not going to like that.... awesome sound...!

  • I have never heard one of these engines in person, but just the resonance that it makes in the distance sure tells me that, D**N that has got to be loud.

  • lol, i was gonna write something fairly smart to make some of these other guys feel like a kindergartner... but, ill just stick with... you can hear the echo after he shuts if off for like 5seconds haha

  • maybe you could set up the exhaust with a heatsink design, liike the intike. that way the whole exhaust pipe would not glow at least as much.

  • @cheetawolf thats been tried.any improvements are negligible/ the extra weight slows it down/it uses more fuel.

  • MAN did u hear that echo??? Taht thing must be lout as f*ck

thumbs up if you agree :D

  • Put ur toung on it.....7:54

  • what is this thing for?? and where it used at?? is it a prototype for smthn really used in real life such jetfighters or somthn??

    plz reply me

  • @xxxfarsixxx the first rocket/jet engine.originally powered by diesel fuel.

  • question, if a throttle body was hooked up to the valve system , will it regulate the amount of gas and air flowing into the chamber(quicker or slower) or will the flow always be constant?

  • @Themayseffect fuel venturies are among the first throttle-body designs.it,s just another kind of throttle-body intake design.

  • holy shit it echo's in the woods for a good 5 seconds after it's shut off O.O

  • why does it get so hot? and what is it used for ?

  • @lightingrings it gets hot because of fire..... plus its used for anything u want. rc planes, cars, boats

  • Holy shits thats hot

  • And Mosquito is loud too lol on your cam lol nice prop !

  • SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

  • that is HOT

    (as in temuture)

  • And how do you prevent the RC model jet from melting? Easy! Make the jet out of a High-carbon-based polymer steel.....if you can afford to get some of that...which I doubt.

  • Sure, go ahead and hook it to a skateboard! But i hope you don't have any use for your legs,'cuz that jet'll melt the f**k out of them

  • hook that to a skateboard.

  • Ya did just fine Beck-Tech

  • fucking creeper

  • and ah...and ah.. that's some creepy guy

  • That guy has a creepy voice!..lol Sounds like a killer.

  • Used in a smoke generator that burns fog oil for the ARMY?

  • wow wat mooi hoe moet dat ik koop het idee voor 1000 euro!!!

  • What level of thrust (lbs) are you producing from this model?

  • Why not use a blower to provide cooling air for longer static running?

  • HE STARTS IT AT 7:20

  • hes talking like hes telling a secret or something

  • there are cuts on the valve assembly to radiate heat

  • the worlds BEST leaf blower

  • dawm! that is sweet!

I subbed you pls sub back

  • boom at 7:35

  • couldn't you put some sketches and let us' figure out what the hell are the part's?

  • very loud kazoo

  • starts at 7:32

  • @loxyloxan thanks for that. saved me a lot of bullshit. Too bad the end still sucked.

  • I don't know why, but when you talk I want to punch you in the face.

  • In the 50s my uncle had one of these on a control-line model V1 buzz bomb. He had to whirl like a dervish to keep in under control and it was so loud it scared me, I was about nine years old.

  • wouldn't the fins also act like a heat sink to help keep things cool?

  • @steadfast1984 not by much

  • Johan tuon hitlerin porukka keksi koittakaa ny jotain uutta :P

  • pretty cool. As a Canadian. we are accused of saying "eh" a lot. I'm wondering how many times this guy said "umm" ?

  • @dewcando lol a liked that one :P

  • This Dude is too chilled

  • u should use that as a arm knife

  • German snitcher are immediately flagging my postings.

No one would do this with Germany. Germany still is the same Nazi country. My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years by the BND which is the renamed GESTAPO.Because of our homepage linked on my channel.I recorded more than 450 hours of video which ended up in the legal system. The BND continued to torture my brother for 1.5 years under the cover of the "legal system".Markus Bott was murdered by the BND on 11.7.09.

  • Fantastic, love the echo.

  • vuvuzela from hell o.O

  • love the echo

  • @MrBioluminescence thanks for that
