Does anyone knows how to unlock the data for the htc tilt 2 using a prepaid sim card im in the $50 for unlimited txt, talk, and data bt data doesnt work in the tilt 2. Help please :(
I am using an HTC Pure on a "Pick Your Plan " with a grand-fathered unlimited data plan for $20.00 a month, I did noticed that I wasnt able to tether as I used to in the past, but after following your instructions I was able to make it work, I did have to disable all other adapters on my PC (wifi and ethernet lans), then I also removed "File Printing and Sharing" from the "new" adapters properties and renewed my IP. Im hoping to change to H2O Wireless and do the same since they use AT&Ts Network
If you want to do this the "legal" way, download WMwifirouter, you CAN get this from the marketplace so they obviously allow it. I'm going to do a comparison in speeds in a minute and I may make a test video of my own.

Anyways I've been doing this for over a year now, and the only way you can really get "caught" is if you use more than 5GB of data a month, its actually written in the contract...
lol you dont need to go into your reg and edit anything! haha your doing way too much! in your windows folder will be a intershr.exe file just run it and you can actually select media net or att isp account

no. to tether by AT&T rules, you need to pay an extra $10 a month on top of your current data plan. to avoid spending that extra money this hack allows you to use your current plan.
@hugo1391 Google, "O market for windows phone" and download it to your phone for free! its a 3rd. party app store for WinMo 6, 6.1,6.5 phones! i have it and i searched for "wifi router" and found on for free! i think its called cookies somthing,not sure!

I downloaded the same regedit but it wont let me edit anything it says that its locked... I have a htc pure do i have to unlock it or something?
