  • Pretty cool effect. You should check out some of mine! I like your detuned sounds.

  • think you could do a vid in which you hook a mic up to the modulator? thanks

  • 1.44 to 1.45 is the best bit.. he he :-)

  • Very Nice! Regards!

  • trem and ring mod - cool!

  • Would you be bale to use this on your voice?

Will a microphone work through this? I would like to hear a demonstration, if possible? Thanks so much.

  • OK.. see.. HERE is where a Voice -Over

would be SO helpful.. it SOUNDS like you have some delay goin' at the same time..no? Hard to believe a Ring Mod could be producing ALL these sounds on its own. This IS a pretty sick-sounding pedal, tho. I mean that in a GOOD way.

Ring Mods are among THE strangest pedals.

  • EXTERMINATE !! EXTERMINATE !!!

  • is there any song played using this kind of effect?

  • Glass by incubus. And I think either Drunkship of Lanterns or Roulette Dares by The Mars Volta

  • @bruceamey Pendulous Threads by Incubus is another great example.

  • @chilil57 I knew there was another Incubus song, the name must've escaped me at the time. Still though, I think that ring mods are largely unexplored. I love these pedals.

  • Yeah, Glass by Incubus.

  • My favorite example is "On the Way Home to Earth" by The Mahavishnu Orchestra. Best ring mod guitar solo ever, in my opinion haha. Can't find the studio version on Youtube anymore. Live is just as good though.

  • @bobafreakguitarman Jan Hammer and Larry Coryell did great things with these back in the day as well...

  • Solo from smell like teen spirit by nirvana is probably the most famous, i think matt bellamy uses one as well

  • I believe the solo for Paranoid by Black Sabbath uses one, not sure though.

  • When I first started listening, I thought "This isn't a ring mod, it's a freaking tremolo." What a versatile pedal!

I just stumbled upon Copilot FX, and I definitely like what I see.

  • at the very beginning of the video, is that time code by bright eyes that i hear? ;)

  • Put drum beats through it and you get cool fx too. I like this pedal

  • listen at 1:47. It sounds like if he had little chickens chirping... haha.. NICE PEDAL MAN.

  • cool! a wet/dry mix would be very useful...

  • sweet, i wonder what chip uses this

  • I had been looking at this pedal on ebay for awhile, never knew it sounded so good. It would be really cool to have a cv out for a pedal to control those knobs. Thanks

  • i have a keyboard that comes out with all those sounds

    it has more controls

i just need to find out how to plug my guitar into it :)

  • yeah but your keyboard probably isn't analog like this...

  • does that make a difference?

  • the difference of voltages and ACTUAL electricity versus computer-talk bits and samples

  • analog is a lot more warm sounding, some digital pedals can be very... robotic, but they're typically inexpensive in comparison to analog pedals

  • try it with to different distortions and a wah pedal at the same time with the ring modulator

  • I like the bit where your girlfriend runs out of the room - i guess that's ring modulators for you !! good sound though.

  • What do you charge for that bad boy?

  • that thing is pretty damn cool

  • hecho en REP DOM PA LANTE VIEJO!!!

  • nice

  • I can't stop grinning :D That pedal is like groovey man!! haha

  • madness. i'm ordering one.

  • Maaaaad! :)
