@summerh95 hey summerh95, thanks for watching! :) Just like any exercise, there is a correct way to perform it & incorrect ways. If you perform any exercise incorrectly, you can tear muscles. In the exercise shown in this video, if you are using your leg muscles to lift yourself up rather letting your arms do all the work, you are not putting stress on your leg muscles, therefore not causing muscle damage. of course not! :) in my opinion for what worked with my splits is a good routine to do everyday as im sure u know and no it will probably come faster if u stretch more than once a day :) but dont hurt yourself and know that even if you stretch for hours one day, then leave it for a week it wont help, you have to be consistant and stretch every day :) hope that helps
you're all asking how to get lower in the split... try doing it in front of a mirror. once you're as far down as you can go, look at where your shoulders are in relation to your hips. they're probably a little forward. try straightening your back up so that your shoulders are directly above your hips; it will automatically bring you closer to the floor. it will hurt, but you'll get lower :)

u suppose to keep doing it until it stops hurting and if u wanna go all the way down, make sure youre pressing hard and when u do da split, put your face to your knee, and hold for 5 secs and then do it with no hands and keep practicing

There is a known positive correlation between strength and flexibility. i.e. it is easier to gain flexibility for stronger people, though every effort should be made to strength train in a manner that involves the full range of movement. DC
