The easy Way to find out is by your power supply . xenon 203 w , Falcon 175,jasper 150 No need to do all that .

If it still has the silver heat sink it could be a xenon (old model). If a xenon breaks and is sent to ms for repair the heatsinks are updated. Which makes a xenon into an opus. If you wana see your motherboard look @ the manufacture date or compair you power adapter to a diagram.

well that's odd. i was sure and am still unsure on my results. 203w box AND brick, team CSON, but batch .0742. ive heard over 736 or something were falcons. and i have the older copper piped heatsink. so i probably have pre-falcon. which is fine, as it's lasted 4 years now haha.

yep, but not the very old models like opus and the others, they still sell falcon models but microsoft only produces the newest model (jasper), only on arcade and pro consoles (the elite its only falcon)

Awesome, I was unsure if my 360 really had a Falcon Chip since I bought it from Ebay. I was scared for frauds! But thanks to your video, I can confirm its a Falcon Chip. They say the boxes should show "Team :FDOU" along with "175w"

but mine shows "Team :CSON = 205W" however my brick does show 175W, and mine did come with the HDMI port.

You don't need to open anything up like in this video although that's fine too if you want. Besides the manufactured date, you can also check the back of the 360, if it has HDMI, 175W power brick, plastic power connector going in to the 360 (not metal), and a BenQ DVD drive (U shape when it comes out), than it's a Falcon.

when was it manufactured? October 2007 - later? If before that than it's probably a Zephyr (2nd gen) and not the Falcon (3rd gen). Well if it's still working and you've played it quite a bit, it should be fine either way, plus you have a 3 year microsoft warranty regardless. Chances are you're fine.
