I have 400whp in my 03 WRX running 18psi on a GT30R set up and had it that way for a year now and not a single bit of trouble. It is all in how you do it, the stock internals of the WRX's are great you just have to do it right. And you should run more than 18psi on the stock internals. It is all in how you do it. Yeah most idiots keep cranking up the boost. I know one guy that is running 28psi on his 03 WRX with stock internals. His engine will blow up VERY soon.

well until recently I had an STi 6spd but I got tired of it so I went back to the stock 5spd and I changed out the stock gears for some billet gears 1st and 2nd are straight cut and 3rd and 4th are hellical and it is SWEEET. In fact I ran a 1/4 mile even faster than I normally did the other day I ran an 11.5 at 124mph instead of 11.7 because you get more out of each gear instead of shifting all the time in the 6spd.

Nope it's an 03 WRX. Part of the problem is that I have the stock OEM tires on it which the ones that are on are for all season hard compounds so they don't get good grip. I have all 4 tires scrambling for traction in 1st and 2nd with a good chirp on 3rd gear. Once I get my new tires which will be tomorrow ironically I am going to run my car and see what I can do. I am going to go for the STi Z rated tires which should take care of it! I am guessing I should be around 11.2 or 11.3

Yep just a WRX, It will run 11.2 with new tires hopefully I can keep traction. Well I have most of the body converted to carbon fiber, Rotated moutn GT30R turbo running 18psi 4 into 1 stainless steel headers and up pipe with turbo back exhaust with OEM muffler to keep it quiet but an electric cut out for extra power. Large TMIC with intercooler spray kit. Main contribution is the weight reduction my curb weight is 2900lbs from 3300lbs. Also I have short ram intake and Cobb Accesspoort.

ok dude if I have to explain all of this to you then it is going to take a long ass time. The exhaust gases that come out of the motor merge into on pipe hense 4 into 1 header the pipe they lead to is the up pipe that connects to the turbo. Up pipe is pre turbo and down pipe is after the turbo. The electric exhaust cut out at just the push of a button my exhaust comes out of the down pipe instead of going through the exhaust adds about 20whp which isn't alot but it is more.
