there less customizable in the UK with the V10 ~I have noticed that on the UK site you can only choose the colour of the whole bike frame and it has to be the same but on the US site you can choose different colours of the front and of the rear

i got the santa cruz nomad today sept 22 2009 after a l ong wait. i dont have to worry or be jealous about carbon anymore or just yet. the new white nomad i just got isa sweet sweet super nice bike. still setting up though.

hello. theres no doubt santa cruz is the top of the bike brand. my question is regarding carbon vs aluminum bikes. which is better to get? which is more durable? is wieght the only good thing about carbon? which is longer lasting? example the blur lt and the blur lt carbon. though i might get the nomad, im still wondering about the carbon and non carbon. lastly, when do you think santa cruz will release a nomad carbon?

@sigmademon I'm not an expert but here's the deal..... When Carbon flex it reverts to its original shape as opposed to its aluminum counterparts, the down side is that when Carbon breaks, it just snaps with out any warning unlike Aluminum which cracks and dents. Best bet? Get a Titanium =)

I totally love the 09 jackal. A lot of people are hating on it because it lost the 'hump' but I think it looks much neater and faster.

hey experts, help me out. having trouble deciding which series is better for me. i live in korea, and do a combo of trail/downhill and road. want FS. Trek Top Fuel vs. Giant Anthem? Or more mountain: Trek Fuel EX vs Giant Trance? Want to choose category, then model. Any thoughts? Thanx (age 48, weight 205, height 6'0...geez, sounds like a personal ad!)

Get the Trance for mountain, and get a road bike for road. The Trance is a very nice bike, good suspension, fairly lightweight, and pretty tough.

But for the road, nothing will beat a road bike. The different geometry, larger chain rings, smaller cassette, and 700C road slicks cannot be matched by any mountain bike. Even a mid-end machine with Shimano 105 components is a rocket compared to the best XTR-equipped mountain bike on the road.

ive just sold my bullet,i had it since year 2001 and its been ridden and raced around europe in that time,basically i hammered that bike and i never had a problem with it,its still being used by my mate now and is still riding good as new,they are quality and i would always consider buying a santa,

I have one, and i can say they are lying, bike is not very good, and worse it's their service. I don't they will last long been lier. I will always say to everyone not to buy one Santa Cruz Bike.
