For those who don't know the Ontario Trust for Student Support is a grant match. if someone donated money for a bursary, the government would match that donation, this is no longer the case. this means the bursary funding is at least cut in HALF! people don't donate as much when there's no grant matching.

students over four years out of high school do not qualify

part time students do not qualify

grad students do not qualify

students who are SINGLE PARENTS do not qualify

@songforthegirl its only meant for low income Ontarians, and the cuts to research funding is more due to the federal government not helping the other provinces
