  • Thank you for posting this video. I'm in the final year of a Comp Sci degree and have been wondering what to do after graduation. Whether to aim at my own business or just find a job. This video has helped me decide which way to go.

  • No need for all this jibber jabbering. The proposition is simple:

If you keep the clients that use you, you will have no motivation and will go broke and will have to get a job anyway. If you ditch them, you might go broke and will have to get a job, BUT your stakes are higher that you won't have to get a job if you ditch the user clients and try to get new ones. Choose.

I see the guy closed his domain name anyway, so I am guessing he either does something else, or has changed his URL.

  • Great video!

  • I couldn't make my way right through that. I skipped to various sections, and it seemed to be going around in circles with that guy. Maybe he's just better off as an employee, without the responsibilities of being a boss?

Some people just aren't good business people, and shouldn't be in that position.

Not all chefs should run restaurants. Not all hairdressers should have their own hair studio.

  • It sounds as if he has fully let his fear(s) come to the surface. In objective therapy, I think it's important to fully identify the full extent of your fear--to say in all seriousness, in effect: "Boy, am I scared..." and breath into your fear, and face it directly; face all of the fantasies, let them all come out.

  • Positive framing is probably one of the best negotiation strategies.
