I'm glad they have good "neighbors" people helping them. The only difference between people with homes, and people without homes... is they don't have money. I can't believe their telling them they need a building permit, for a small "shack". Give me a break. I built a small building recently without needing one! They just want to find some way of kicking these people out! Too bad they didn't just ask what they need to assist them.
That guy keeps asking "So what are your plans????? Over and over. These guys look like they have already given plenty of themselves to surviving. What's wrong with peacefully living out their days in a warm shelter.
well its 7 months later, late july. hope you guys are doin a bit better and enjoying the warm weather. can we get an update on the situation? well, i'll check out your channel to see if you put anything else up.
@fleebus090 The city has been harassing the property owner to say they are not there with his permission. I believe they are still back there. I visited a few months ago, and they were out there.
@obscuredtruth omg, they're on private property and the city still won't drop it? jesus. being on private property should mean its none of the city's concern. I hope the property owner has enough money for a good lawyer. he may be able to get a settlement for the harrassment.
@imah8ter07 - If voting changed anything, they wouldn't allow it. Besueds using the system, implies that there should be a system when I'm done. Initiating force to get others to behave a certain way is wrong. That's what is what people are waking up to, and they will soon stop supporting government coercion.
So the city of Keene, supposed protector of the people, end up harassing, and in the end only giving a couple of safety suggestions to these men before deciding on trying to shut them down, while individuals give time, materials, land, food and clothing to these men.
And yet people still think a solution to poverty is more bureaucracy.
2nd comment: I know alot of these guys would get jobs and participate in society if they could, but the very fact that your getting by, outside of their standards/system, is an outrage to the state. This is the sort of thing that they fear: solidarity between people,, showing that one can live even when kicked in the face by your environment. they are out to stop you, make an example of you, believe me on that one.
1st comment: of course the bastards from the state are after you. when they see you living on the fringe of society, and still actually getting by OUTSIDE of their system, it pisses them off, and they don't want you "influence" others. they want to herd you into nasty little overcrowed uncomfortable homeless barnyards where you cant sleep at night from the fear of being stabbed. they want you to come back to work and pay taxes like good little sheep.

I'd recommend some of these guys try to "volunteer" for the National Park Service where they would get shelter and I think also food.
I'm not fully sure how it works.

@InfoWarriorMaverick I recommend you volunteer for experimental drug testing. It's completely safe and no one is ever harmed by it.
I'm not fully sure how it works.

these type stories need to become overtly visible.
there is a growing number of ppl that have fallen through the cracks, and they are as much human
as anyone else. as long as they are peaceful
and not endangering anyone, it should be a moot
point. but, i'm being reasonable in an unreasonable world....my bad.

Attention aggressive people of "The City of Keene": If you can not privately HELP these people, then leave them ALONE! DON'T HURT THEM!

"We can live in a tent, but we can't stay warm." - Wow
So I guess the town has the biggest issue with the temporary building that they built and the disposal of the septic waste. Weird.
Hope those folks catch a break before the government "helps" them right into jail. "We are the government and we are here to help."

@fleebus090
I was thinking the same thing. If people REALLY want to inflict change upon the system, and op out of the system, then this is the only way.
