  • that looked a bit two footed....

  • WHAT! They got a 4.9!!!!!!!!!??????? WTF!

  • Brilliant! Those jumps are mind-blowing, especially that TQTL. The Chinese do seem to be very good skaters.

  • 4.9 out of 5 maybe... =P

  • At that time, the movement will not be credited if two foot landing

  • WHATTT 4.9??? That's outrageous!

  • Wow. I never even heard of this team. Why was this not ratified? VIse and Trent landed the first ever throw quad one or two years ago. It was not perfect either.

  • @tinymavy Vise and Trent's throw quad salchow wasn't perfect but it was clean no two foot no hand down no under rotation therefore ratifying it. Unfortunately, she did visibly put down the other foot if she wouldnt've then yes this would've been the first throw quad toe in pairs skating history unfortunately it wasn't :(

  • the maks are low!!

  • Wow those marks given are ludicrous. 4.9??? I don't think so

  • crazy. They were technically excellent. Sure, the artistry wasn't special, but they deserved at least a 5.6 for technical scores.

  • Two footed landing does not get ratified by ISU as clean jump. Vern Taylor's 3axel & Kurt Browning's 4toe both had double threes after the landing. ISU deemed they both landed on one foot which had a running edge prior to the 3turns and thus counted. Any two foot landing is not a proper jump. Very good throw but that is why Vise & Trent have now become the FIRST to land a THROW QUAD in ISU Competition.

  • wow. amazing!

  • Was it the first throw quadruple jump certified by the ISU ? I think so. I don't know if they skate anymore. I believe not... Too bad.

But does a jump need to be perfectly landed to be certified ? I saw the first triple axel from Vern Taylor, and it's not perfect. Actually, with the IJS, I guess it must be certified if it's not downgraded or fell.

  • it just needs to be landed on one foot and with the full rotation. Two foot, hand down or fall doesn't count. Kurt Browning's first quad had a three turn after it but he still landed it on one foot.

  • Wonderful height on that but she two-footed the landing unfortunately! : (
