  • thanks, very helpful!!!

  • Went back to this video (super-helpful and packed w/ info - thanks!) and want to get this book from the library. Even though we try to eat healthfully, there's always more we could be doing. I'm always trying to add more veggies and whole grains while reducing processed foods (esp. white grains and sugars). I think I will print out a glycemic index chart and post it in my kitchen for inspiration when making grocery lists!

  • Some very useful fertility diet tips and info. Ta!

  • I am going to buy this book. I am anovulatory due to diabetes so I really think this book will help. So far nothing else has been found (PCOS/endometriosis) that would prevent me from conceiving so its just high blood sugar which should be easy to deal with with proper diet.

  • thanks for sharing this. I read this book awhile ago and you helped refresh some of the ideas. I really enjoy these book reviews.

  • Wow I never even thought of the relation between food and fertility! Thank you for sharing x

  • This is such a great video and personally i agree with all of this.I believe that not only are carbs/sugars to blame for interfering with the infertility ( especially for pcos) but i believe that the growth hormones, antibiotics and various other drugs given to our livestock is also causing issues.I hope this gets everyone to thinking about there diet more.

  • I'm a 28 year old married nurse, I just completed the Nurses Study questionarre. It asked questions about how regular period is, birth control, body hair, exercise, diet. This one of the surveys. I have done other ones as well. Very interesting study!

  • Can't wait for your dairy products video. I have also tried to eliminate dairy from my diet but I do have skim milk. I'm very curious now :) Thanks for this vid.

  • Thanks for the diet tips. You're really beautiful btw...random.

  • These tips are great for everyday health as well as for fertility. Whether you have fertility issues or not, good health is absolutely KEY when ttc-ing! I love olive oil but it has a very low smoke point which keeps it from being ideal for cooking. I would recommend coconut oil or ghee as an alternative! Also you can lower your saturated fat intake but continue eating meat by eating free range GRASS fed beef instead of corn fed beef (most of the beef of the market).

  • Thanks for sharing this Renae! I wrote it all down and will be putting it on my fridge for a daily reminder! :)

  • great information! I have already implemented some of these things in our diet! glad to hear that it has some scientific backing! :)

  • WOW! u have no idea how much u just inspired me! I'm gonna do more for my fertility chances =.) Thank u Renae!

  • Thanks for sharing your information! :)

  • Hello, Goregeous! This was wonderful info, and It is super true! I have done and changed many of these things in my personal life and diet, and it's helped! SO, thank you, lady, for spilling it out for the world:) LOVE you!!! <3

  • Great video Renae!!! I have PCOS and went on a low glycemic diet and lost 39lbs. Cycles returned and I started ovulating every month and got pregnant 4 months after actively TTC.

  • There are two youtubers that make videos about freedom from PCOS through diet. katiehumphreyfitness and rawradianthealth.

  • I really believe this works, I tried for 8 years with no luck, went on a diet very similar and got pregnant. I was only trying to lose weight so I didn't connect it until 3 years of trying for my second I went on another diet like this and got pregnant again! It's only anecdotal evidence and could be coincidence but now that we are trying for a third I will try this diet again and see if I have similar luck. It makes sense to me since PCOS is insulin related that a low glycemic diet would work.

  • Oh, This was such a good info vlog. Love it. I have the book and read it last year but i think i'll get it out again and have another read. x

  • I just bought the book and can't wait to sit down and read it

  • Thank you for a great review! Wonderful to see a study which is promoting a plant based diet for fertility. I think that vitamin D levels are also key with over 90% of infertile women having low levels.....

  • Renae thank you sooooooooooo much for making this video! I HAVE to check out this book, I have been doing research on all of these kinds of things for a few months and it makes so much sense! I have tried to explain similar things in my vlogs but I have found a hard to way to go about it because diet is such a touchy subject these days since our culture teaches us our diet is "normal" with the excessive amount of sugars and animal fats! ur amazing Ill be sure to let people know about ur video!

  • You look all done up and pretty :)

  • Seriousness lady! Such a hottie!!! Lmao! Thanks for sharing these with us! ♥

  • Loved this vlog pretty lady! Can't wait to hear more about the milk thing!

  • Well I just have to say you look goregous miss! Great info... Thanks for letting me know :)

  • Interesting stuff :) I'm planning a library visit for Monday so I'll look for it and make some notes. Thanks for sharing!

  • Great information, thanks for sharing!

  • I'm SUPER interested in reviewing this study....Could you send me a link to this study Renae? I actually believe that 1 out of 7 people suffer from fertility issues...only for the reason that the TTC community has changed drastically over the years...for instance more women over the age of 35 are TTC'ing now and that was so unheard of 25 years ago. But yah, I NEED to read this... Thanks for sharing this. Love ya girl! ♥

  • wowza i need to get my ass in gear! thanks for all the tips :) :) xooxxo

  • This sounds like a good idea. I am going to be going to the doctor next week to get treatment for my pcos. Maybe he will bring this up with me. What was the name of the book again?

  • @taetwa The Fertility Diet--- ask him if he thinks a low sugar/low glycemic diet will help your PCOS. There is lots of info/research into PCOS in this book so I highly recommend it!

  • I saw that and wanted to get it but didn't know if I should I will maybe do it.
