theres a lot of gimmicky marketing bs around this mouse but the design, ergonomics are the best ive ever used. i only got this mouse for its shape which i really like. i do hope razer continues to improve the performance and reliability of this mouse.

If you need wireless then go with Mamba - MadCatz fucked up RAT9 wireless module. If you're going with cable mouse I personally prefer RAT7 (same as RAT9 but only wired) over Deathadder. However these are completely diffrent constructions - I just don't like much of a Deathadder shape.

I've had this mouse and I don't like it. It's wireless for 6-8 hours, then you have to put cable to charge it. It's very big and uncomfortable, but that's my opinion. Finally it stopped working after 2 weeks. I couldn't charge it. It's my first mouse that has broken down and with such a price I've expected high-end product. @Ladiesman1447 No need. Just connect the wire directly into the mouse and then to the computer. This makes it wired, and will NEVER go out of power. Trust me, I've used this mouse for almost a year, and I love it!

I think when I customize my Asus G74Sx-3DE, from Gentech PC, I will downgrade something like the hard drive, and the Blu-Ray drive (from 8x to a 4x) a little so I can get this! Is it really worth it, or am I better off getting the Logitech G9x? (I play First person shooters like Cod, and Battlefield [Minecraft FTW], and 3rd person games like any Grand Theft Auto, and other games like thoes. No MMO's though.)
P.S I have both a palm and claw grip. I have adapted to both, so I really dont care.

I will get the new razer mamba... Then i will make the leds red and own people with my new 6400 DPI mouse. The mouse I'm using right now has 800 DPI and people say it really makes a difference in FPS games so I can't wait. Of course the mouse looks awesome also.
@Sh0tgunJunior Yeah it really does, it works best when u go into the control panel and lower the sensitivity there so u can crank the dpi on the mouse and not have it too fast. Its very nice i got the 5600 DPI Mamba and it feels wonderful to game with.

buggy mouse driver, bad precision, made for big hand users. smaller hand users might find it harder to maneuver the mouse quickly and accurately. I had G500, bought the mamba just for my laptop but buggy software made the mouse dead so I bought G700 as replacement.
The games I play nowadays are Starcraft 2 and some fps games. With G500 or G700 I can be very confident with my precision (almost no misclick). But with mamba, I lose all confidence in my accuracy.
i buy all razer and i love everything from them. I have Mamba and absolutly love it. If there was a Lamborghini of computer mice the Mamba would be it. I also have the Mirror Lycosa, Megaladon headset, Destructor Mouse pad, and soon to be the Nostromo gaming pad.
I find that the Deathadder 3500 is still the superior mouse, because i can only handle a max of 3500 DPI, and i HATE the dpi switch buttons, my big hands sometimes hit the 2 things by accident.

These are the most important things in gaming (in FPS at least)
- A Good Mouse so you can pan around, shoot people and perform 360s just to show off
-A good headset which can make the difference between Wall Hack and Listenning onto Footsteps, reloading sounds and other stuff.

I find that the Deathadder 3500 is still the superior mouse, because i can only handle a max of 3500 DPI, and i HATE the dpi switch buttons, my big hands sometimes hit the 2 things by accident.
