Thank you thank you for this video!!! I have read both the seat and my trucks instructions, i have googled and tried to install the seat tight my self for hours!!!!! Then I found this video and learning about taking the cover off to tighten the latch belts worked in seconds!!!! Thank you soo much, I was almost ready to take the seat back! :)

Very good install video. It helped me get our safety 1st air in the car. And yes, your passenger side becomes useless unless the passenger is 5.2 or shorter.

Kind of lame that they don't point out that your front passenger seat becomes useless for anyone to sit in with this seat in the rear facing position. Also, what's up with the blanket under the seat? Poor design. Maybe it's good for the babies head but at what cost?

@ljshoreslokal A lot of car seats need the blanket to make it at the right level; it depends on the curve in your car's seats. I think this car seat only needs the towel in the rear-facing position. Also, it is safer to keep the car seat in the middle of the back seat so you won't have to worry about the passenger seat.
