correct me if im wrong i saw the2010 le mans race on speed and there was a corvette c6-r race car and i just seen the american le mans race at the miller motorsports park in utah and i was reading the position chart and it says corvette zr1 are there 2 verisons on the corvette racing cars in the le mans series?
@isaiah213 In the 24 hours of Le Mans race their were the 2 factory C6Rs like in this vid. Then there were a few privatear Corvettes being raced by other teams. As for the ALMS racing they list the production car name and that is the ZR-1 that they modify to make it a C6R.

@isaiah213 The pretty much take a ZR1 and gut in and then turn into the C6R. I will try to find a video and sent it to you. The C6R is the best sounding car in ALMS during live races I can hear them above all other cars. CORVETTE RACING ALL THE WAY!
@aqinthe Agreed, C6R donsent make a sound, it has a presence. you can feel the engine in the ground, your clothes, the air. i dont even route for corvette racing, but nothing compare to sound (presence) they have at WOT. all the others are impressive, but in volume only. tickle the inside of your ears treble and thats it.
C6R is like rolling thunder, mixed with a stampede, and a fireworks finale all tuned together in a symphony of chaos...
@aqinthe I dont actully favour any particular team, but if i had to choose i would say Aston Martin. (P1 lola was second best sounding car at sebring this year) and last years DBR9 sounded amazing too. all the ferraris and porsches are exciting when the race first gets going, but gets old pretty quick. my freinds and i found ourselves having our conversations interupted by the ferraris and porsches where as every time the Aston or the corvettes we would all stop talking and just watch and listen
@masterkenlove i loved it when aston martin decided to play ball and go in to GT1, it was amazing to see them willing to compete and give the C6r some real competition, i wear my jake prudly, but it gets so boring when almost every GT1 team is using a C6r

Definetly need some compitition in GT1. The Maserati MC12 is capable with a factory team. Also, Aston Martin DBR9R should come back. you almost won in '06. how the Saleen can't run is beyond me. look at the le mans series in europe. they win almost every week.
They race together, but thhy're on the same team. XKR? GT500? Z10? Viper? What are you talking about? None of those cars except for the Viper would have any chance at racing in an ALMS race.
